Discussion

communication in the workplace wherein it assists the employees and employers in sharing their
ideas for increasing engagement. The ability of the employees to interact outside the work space
will be helpful for boosting morale of the employees and employee engagement. It will be
capable of growing the teams in a faster manner that will be capable of generating efficiency in
the tasks which are performed by the employees.
On the other hand, as described by Cardon and Marshall (2015), in the 21st century, there
can be different issues related to cyber theft that can be impacting the performance of the
companies. However, in such scenario, the employees need to be trained with the different
aspects that are needed to be posted on the official website or not. They should be taught that the
social media will be capable of making the employees grow and develop stronger relationships
and work efficiently in a team (Dufner, Arslan & Denissen, 2018).
From the analysis of the different articles, it has been known that through the usage of
the social media tools such as Facebook or Twitter, the employees can be beneficial in
strengthening and building personal relationships with the different co-workers and lead to

to interact with the other even when not at work. It will be able to enhance the information

Therefore, from the analysis of the articles, it can be concluded that social media has
been growing in the rapid manner with massive changes included in it. Social media has been
able to exhibit and strengthen the different techniques wherein social media will be able to
improve the employees along with the workplace in the suitable manner. However, there can be
issues related to performance, in such scenario, employees need to be focused on their
performance which will be positively impacting productivity of company.
