Ways to measure and report on the organization’s social performance to stakeholders
MSFIN is among non-profit making organizations that ensure a positive social impact to its
surrounding environment is put in to practice. The organization emphasizes on being socially
responsible and offering sustainable operations in order to meet its current needs without
affecting the future generation who will want to achieve same development (Trebeck, 2008).
By doing that, the organization will ensure the environment surrounding it is sustainable, the
economy will also be sustainable as well as the society at large. In the long run, the
organization will be able to meet stakeholder’s expectation and satisfying their needs as well.
The management committee can therefore measure its social responsibility to its stakeholders
through the following ways;
The organization should focus on offering green product to the customers since most
customers prefer environmental friendly products, that is, green products for their
consumption. Which they believe it has less health effect to them.
Shareholders should be promised a sustainable operation because most of the
stakeholders consider sustainability as their priority when engaging in any business
operation.
MSFIN should also provide good care to both the environment surrounding it and the
community as well. This is because most employees prefer to work for organizations
that care for their community and the environment surrounding them. The
organization should therefore practise this in order to satisfy its employees and attract
more employees to work for the organization. (Yang, Liu, Sun & Zhang, 2017)
The organization should also be socially responsible in its investments since most
investors prefer investments which are socially responsible. For MSFIN to attract
more investors, the organization should ensure social responsibility in all its
operations. In addition, this practice will enable the organization to get funds from

banks because most banks only provide funds to organizations that ensure safe
environmental practice and maintaining social responsibility.
Most suppliers prefer organizations which demonstrate social responsibility and safe
environmental practise. Suppliers like dealing with environmental friendly products
which are long lasting. The organization should therefore engage itself in such
practices in order to maintain a long lasting relationship with its suppliers, as well as
attracting more new suppliers. (Ross, 2017)
The community on the other hand requires organizations to provide employment
opportunity to the local people within the community since they believe they will
maintain safe environmental practise and the business would have met the local
needs. The organization should therefore ensure it has met the various local needs of
the surrounding community.
Governments and regulators set rules and regulation to monitor social performance
and environmental outcome. The organization should therefore adhere to the
country’s laws and regulations.
MSFIN can therefore ensure its sustainability by carrying out environmental friendly and
social responsible operations. The organization can only maintain all the stakeholders and
create a long lasting relationship with them by performing such operations and giving back to
the community. The organization should also engage in safe developments to meet their
needs that will not compromise with activities of the future generation as they also work on
developing their organizations as well. (Senay & Landrigan, 2018)
