INTRODUCTION
Health and social care is about to form the policies related to the health and social care of
the people in society. This report is based on the case study of Beveridge report in context to its
applicability towards the health and social care practices. This entire report will talk about
different elements related to the health and social care practices of the respective report.
Henceforth, report will emphasis over range of term and concept in the field of social policy.
Different material that is part of the report which are appropriate and effective in respect to social
and economic welfare of peoples. Different range of appropriate sources used in this project will
also reflect under this project.

Beveridge report is a report published based on the concept of social and economic
welfare of the people based in the country. The entire concept reflect about the different social
and economic issues that society is dealing in order to channelise the overall operations in
society. Social and economic issues are associated with the health of people, education, income
and other such segments. Over the period of time in the society rich people became more reach
and the poor became more poor that has created some kind of instability in society. People are
facing issues related to the health care. IN recent time COVID 19 has witnessed as the pandemic
that has created immense amount of societal imbalance that causes to various health care
problems and issues in society (Beveridge and Woolhouse, 2020). The project talk about the
social issues which fundamentally influenced the society. In United Kingdom irrespective of
immense level of growth and development over a societal basis there are plenty of social issues
that the people of the locality are facing. The entire project of Beveridge report cover and
projected issues like health care related issues, growth and development opportunities, equality
issues, discrimination, Unequal rights for human being in society and many other issues that
impacted over the life style of people. The entire report also state about the major issue this
entire society is facing which is related to the fact that in society there is imbalance exist which
restricts the overall possibilities of this society. The societal imbalance in respect to economy

and financial growth could spread some kind of emotional pressures over the well-being of the
people in society. The focus of the entire study is mainly over the social issues which society is
facing and also the economic challenges which people in society needed to go through against
fulfilling the living out of it. The direct hypothesis of this study of Beveridge report is over the
issues stated above but there are many indirect elements and factors which create a significant
impact over the emotional and mental well-being of people in society. The limitations of the
system used in society to maintain the proper balance in between the social and economic
balance in society is also specified in this report.
In the society customers rights are increasing due to the significance of the customer.
New legislations like data protection has been implemented to protect the personal information.
This will unanimously applicable over state, market and also in respect to customer. Ideological
term is data protection for this act. Haychek, Friedman and Charles support the implication of
this legislation. Privatization reforms of 1980 also ensure the protection of data of the customers.
This right further strengthen the ideology of the respective legislation. To a large extent

Impact of social policy development of health and social care services
Formation of the Beveridge report has played a very positive role in overall growth and
development of the social and economic well-being in society. Policy framing is crucial as it
cover all the needs and requirements of society while forming the best policies in favour of the
society. Beveridge report is prepared to meet the different economic and social needs of the
people in society. Earlier there was this strong discrimination existed in society that was tried to
overcome with the support of this entire report. It has tried to overcome the economical and
social imbalance part of society. Providing unequal growth and development opportunities is
also a key issue that has been addressed with the support of this report. Due to the social policies
different issues of the health care and society can be dealt. In case of society and health care its
important for understand the needs and requirements of sector (Bivins, 2020). ON the basis of
identified need and requirements all policies are developed and formed that can support in
addressing such identified issues of the respective sector. In case of societal issues there was
some short of inequality which was used to exist in society earlier that was dealt with the support

of policy forming and the legal regulation draft to address the respective issue of society.
Previously child labour was also a part of the society tat was prohibited with the support of
children act 1948. Equality act is also implemented in United Kingdom top address the issues
related to equality in the organisations and companies. Earlier discrimination was existed in the
society that did not allowed every single employee to achieve the respective goals and
objectives. Many cases have been reported where employees even after having the proper ability
they could not grow in organisation due to the unequal behaviour and treatment with them in
society. All this has created a very unethical behaviour at work place with the employees. With
the support of equality act proper equality has been maintained over work place.
Policies like National insurance act 1946 has been effectively cope up with the insurance
related barriers and issues in society. Previously there was so many frauds have been registered
in the face of insurance policy where the insurance agents used to sign wrong agreement from
the clients in order to meet the sales target. This act has been a key factor in dealing with the
insurance policy related issues with the people in society. Other act like National Health Service
act 1946 also played a transformational role in improving the entire health care sector of United
Kingdom (Scambler and et.al., 2018). This legal regulations has allowed the government to
improve the entire health care sector of United Kingdom. Earlier there was an issue related to
treatment of many diseases with the patients. The hospital and health care organisations
conducted frauds with patients by overcharging and making them fool which was addressed with
the support of health care policy of United Kingdom. If any fraud occurred with the patient in the
hospital the entire management would be liable for such fraud and in many cases even the health
care licence is supposed to banned against the fraudulent behaviour or action.
Beverage report has provided certain suggestions like social insurance is only a one part
of comprehensive policy. This report has favoured the social growth of the society along with the
development of the business entities in market. This practice has favoured the society at a larger
extent to achieve best and smooth flow of functional activities. Assumptions like socio economic
is superiors, interest of people is more important than of business entity and the other one is

steps can be taken to address all different issues and challenges identified in society. Government
and other stakeholders can only take effective decisions once they understand the entire issue
(Scanlan, 2018). IN order to address all different problems or issues it is also needed to evaluate
and identify all possible steps or the approaches that can be taken in process to cure a specific
issue or problem. Idealogical approach is a systematic and scientific way to deal with the
problem and that only possible once the entire problem is identified and understand by
stakeholder. Understanding is al;so equally needed as compare to understand the respective
approaches (Brugère and et.al., 2019). If the stakeholder understand the issue properly than only
it get to deliver them in an appropriate manner. These approaches allow to cover all different
needs and requirement of society which is needed. They also support the stakeholder like
government to improve equality in society that is also a fundament6al concept and tool behind
the Beveridge report is formalised. On the basis of different issues that resist the organisation in
fulfilling the equality need in society are only can be dealt with the support of idealogical
approach follow in society. Before forming any plan related to the implementation of different
ideological approaches it is necessary to get the clear idea in respect to the approach so that all
needs and requirement of the respective approaches can be covered than only the implementation
of these approaches can channelises by the government and stakeholders. New right policy on
welfare provisions supported the overall growth of the society. This also comprises with public
spending on welfare, poverty and inequality, unemployment and housing. Beverage report also

or an effective place. Communication in respect to the complex idea is important and crucial as
this strengthen the overall planning of the project. IN case of social policies the number of
benefiters are immense and in many cases such overall number is impossible to find in such a
situation hypothetical figure or information is used to deliver the entire project.

equal growth and development opportunities to stakeholders in society. Proper knowledge is
necessary in formation of policies and practices delivering the maximum amount of outcome to
achieve the best level of outcomes against the practices. Proper knowledge in respect to need,
resources and many such factors support in proper planning for such projects. Social policies
allow the government to improve the well being of people in society and also to improve the
health care of people in society. Idealogical approaches are the tool that is used in case to deliver
the project in the society.
