INTRODUCTION
There are different methods of collecting data and it is very important to chose or select
most appropriate source of collecting data. It is essential that researcher or investigator collect
data from accurate source as well as use it in ethical manner. Literature review refers to the
search or evaluation of data which is available on literature about a particular topic. This will
help in critically analysing data as well as gather information for conducting research in correct
manner. This report includes development of search strategy as well as reflection about it. It
consist of selecting research literature and summarising research literature. It consist of
determining appropriateness of research as well as reflection literature.

I have used secondary sources of data collection as it was easily available on various
platforms. In order to conduct an effective and useful research which is able to solve queries of
other person I have used secondary sources. The main reason for me to chose this strategy was
that it was easily available to me. There are different ways through which I can collect important
data as well as information. Various ways that was available to me was internet, books and
journals. I have analysed that there are different ways though which I can get data such as
primary and secondary data. Primary data consist of those data that directly collected by
researcher and it is also known as first hand data. Where as secondary data is a type of data that
has been already collect as well as available on internet, books and journals as well as other
documents. I have choose secondary data as it was easily available with in less cost consuming. I
have considered this option as through this source I will be able to understand as well as evaluate
information in better manner. There are various advantages for me to select secondary data as it
save my time and efforts as well as save my expenses. It was very helpful in understanding the
problems in correct manner as well as answering the questions in correct. Primary research will
be very expensive for me as well as it will take huge time and efforts. If I collect data from
primary sources such as questioners I have to conduct a proper survey in order to collect view
point of respondents. This require more time as well as other resource in order to conduct
research in correct manner. So this can be consider as a major reason for selecting data as well as
gathering information. This will help in providing correct as well as appropriate data about the
research.
Selecting research literature:
As per the article of parenting for Brain, Parents will have major impact on growth and
development of a child. They will be directly affecting the behavioural of children as well as
their activities. There are different style of parenting which will help in full filling needs and
wants of a child as well as provide them a better future. Each and every parenting type will have

data collection as well as developing better strategies for collecting and gather data and
information. From the collected literature review and understanding the point of view of other
researcher will help in conducting research activities in more effective as well as efficient
manner. Authoritative parenting style includes highly demanding as well as highly responsive
parents. People who are following this type of parenting behavioural have lost of expectation
from their children and they expect their children to achieve set targets as well as behave with
maturity. Where as other parents which are adopting authoritarian parenting style are considered
as high demanding and they are low responsible. In these case parents are not full filling their
responsibilities but wants their children to achieve set goals. It is essential that data collected for
research should be influential enough that it would be able to answer all questions.

on historical data. Thus, it is hard to identify major information through such sources easily. In
these kind of articles, authors only provide their own views therefore it is hard to consider others
views. By implementing idea through these sources, researcher can get desired information
which are based on predetermined values. Through both these articles, I can easily provide me
required information at a limited level.

From the above report it can be concluded that there are various methods which will help
in collecting appropriate as well as informative data. It is very important a researcher is using
different sources of data collection so that they can choose and select most correct information.
Secondary sources are very effective way of collecting data as well as using it in correct manner.
