INTRODUCTION
Culture refers to the background that shapes the behaviour of the individual in the society. This
determines the background of the people that are living in the society. On the other hand,
childhood refers to that face in which the children learn many things and later, this learning has
been applied in order to become adult. Both of these component culture and childhood are the
important aspects of the social science. (Nummenmaa, Lahnakoski and Glerean, 2018). The
social science refers to the study of society by understanding the different aspects that affects the
behaviour, relation and understanding of the people that are living in the society. This concept
helps in the effective understanding of the lives of the people. This report will illustrate the
concept of social science on the context of the chosen topic that is culture and childhood. Along
with this, the report also describes the components that influence the social science.
MAIN BODY
Social science is the effective way of understanding the social world
The social science refers to the better understanding of the people that are living in the
society. (Feeley, 2017). Social science enables the people to understand all of these aspects that
are leading the people and their lives. The humans have been considered as the biggest element
on which the research can never stops. The human beings are concerned with the large number
of social factors that are leading to create the social world. And this social world decides the role
of the individual in the society. The socialist are doing lot of research in order to develop the
effective understanding of the humans and their lives in the society. The social world refers to
that world under which the interaction and elation has been established between the members
that are living in the society.
There are some people that are highly effective in making interaction with the people and
on the other hand, there are many people that do not make effective relation with the people. And
they do not feel to have any kind of connection with the people. The difference between both
type of people are because of those incidents or factors that has been faced by them in their life.
The concept of social science helps in understanding these factors and along with this, it further
helps in solving the problems that are coming in establishing the effective social world. (Moru
and Qhobela, 2019). Socialist carries large number of research and afterwards, understanding the
different factor of social world they get to know the aspects that are affecting the interaction

level of the people. In order to understand this concept with more clearance here are the two
main component of the social world that is culture and childhood has been described briefly:
Culture
There are large number of people living in the society and all of these people are from the
different cultures. And their culture defines their background. The character and personality of
the people comes from their culture. And the society accepts them on the basis of that. Social
science is the broad concept that involves all the people along with their culture. The community
has made a rule and that is based on treating the people in the society on the basis of their
culture. (Valentine, 2017). Social science suggests that the judging has to banned in the society
as this leads to reducing the strength of people in order to form connection.
There are large number of people in the society that has not given the value as the
different people get. This is because of the culture they belong from. For example: There is an
individual that is from the backwards community and living in the society. But, the society treats
that individual differently just because of his culture. In such situation, the individual has a sense
that he does not belong from here. And he does not posses the desire of making interaction with
the people living in the society. Earlier the social world was not given the higher value but, now
it has been considered as the key component in order to establish the effective community.
The social science enables in knowing the changes that has been take place in the society.
For example: In order give the equal value to the all the people The Equality act 2010 and the
Human right act has been introduced by the government. (Robinson, 2020). These laws are the
theories that brought the change in the social world. According to these laws all the people have
to be treated equal in the society instead of getting judge by their culture. All the culture has
given the equal rights and priorities in the eyes of the society.
Childhood
Childhood refers to those age under which the children learn the various things and then
apply all these things while growing in the life. The incidents that has been faced by children in
their life leads to shape their behaviour in the life and shapes their power of making interaction
with the people. The social science puts a major focus on understanding the children as these
children are the future of the society. (Balagopalan, 2018). It has been found from various
research that, there are some children which seems highly happy and on the other hand, there are
other children that sense the phase of anxiety in them. All this is due to the incidents they had

face in their life. For example: There are many children that go to school and enjoying their life
and on the other hand, there are large number of children who are working as there financial
situation is not stable.
Such children feel demotivated and the treatment that is given to them leads to shape
their behaviour in the future. Why is it like this that some children becomes successful and some
follows the path of crimes. (Chambliss and Schutt, 2018). All this is because of the situation that
faced in the childhood. Therefore, the childhood plays the important role in affecting the people
and the social world. The children act 1989 ensuring the protection of the children in order to
create the effective social world. This theory under the social science has been described as the
law that has been introduced by the government. This law puts the prior focus on the children
and any exploitation that takes place against the children has been considered as illegal. This has
been done in order to provide the effective path to the children in order to grow and establish the
effective social world.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that, the social science plays the important role in
the understanding of the people living in the society. The people are concerned with different
wants and desires. But, the life not seems easy as all the desires of the people gets full-filled.
There are some people in the society that lives an effective life on the other hand there are many
people that are struggling to have an efficient life. (Martines, 2017). The social world is full of
with both type of people. The report has also describes the culture and childhood as the part of
social world. These two elements plays the major role in the social world. The concept of social
science suggest the laws that has been implemented by the government in order to bring the
change in the social world. The social science has been proven effective enough in terms of
understanding the lives of the people by understanding the factors of the social world.
