INTRODUCTION
Research skills refers to the ability to search and locate, evaluate, extract the relevant
information of particular topic. This is type of research that is related to specific type of topic and
detailed investigation is required in the study (Ain, Sabir and Willison, 2019). In this report the
topic that is taken is effect of budget cuts on social services and communities in the UK where it
is discussed about the consequences of the situation and the way it is influence the society of the
country. The topic covered in this report are literature review and description of the data that is
studied in this report is studied and the process used to select the data and steps that is taken is
evaluated. Apart from that summarise and conclude the topic and discussing the data used and
making appropriate suggestion and reflection of learning from the research is studied in this
report.

very important to prepare the best financial requirement for the nation. The need to understand
the requirement of budget is important and that helps in building proper structure of economy
and giving assistance in order to provide best advice (Alenzuela and et.al., 2019). Proper
Budgeting play important role in building strong economy and facilitates in providing better
allocation of funds to the different organisation. In the UK, the budgets cuts in the year 2010 has
impacted the many social service and it influence the communities in the country. In the year of
2009-10 and 2017-18 per person spending on social service fell over by 31% and these cuts has
adversely effect the different services and puts pressure on many organisation.
In the accordance of Charlotte Carate 2019, the data taken in this research is secondary
data and that include the quantitative data which consist information through government
departments, internet searches, libraries and different reports. For this research the required data
that is used is quite helpful for the organisation and following are reason through this impact the
certain social services and communities.
 Children services- Through this activity by cutting the research report will impact the
economy and this children and adult's services and that hinder the growth of this centres.

Public spending is reduces as through that its provision is fallen by 2.1% and that
continue to poor health in the economy.
 Hospital social care services- Through this reduction in budget for the whole nation also
impact many social care service centre and that puts lots of pressure on this community.
This leads to inconvenience in the process of many services and hinder many activities
and functions (Alfakih, 2017). This is important to anticipated the best outcome and that
will offer the sustainable growth. Through this in UK the impact on hospital budget also
greatly impacted and render the slowing down the management activities of different
hospitals in the country.
 NGOs and Trustees- This is also a main communities in the UK that is effected by this
action by government as they are directly linked to the allocation of budgets. Their
services and functions has been reduces to some extent and all the donation or money that
they received from particular society has been impacted.
 Local communities- This includes lots of local communities in the country of UK, such
as Drug and alcohol services, Obesity services, physical activity and Public health
programme. These are small in numbers but very important for the welfare of people in
the society. The donation and money that require to run these local communities has
become difficult and create the problems regarding their daily survival and will lead to
many problems related to the financial prospective.

These issues could be studied in the report from the secondary research and that enable to
identify the factors that is very been very necessary to study from the point of view of proper
problem (Baji and et.al., 2018). In the UK the communities that comes into the light are NGOs,

communities. The ways through which this action that effect are in following ways-
 Reducing in investment- The major impact of this cuts in budget is on all the poor ,
middle and rich people where this hinders many activities and lead to certain
complication regarding their daily operations. Some necessary steps need to be taken by
government to consider there problems and try to understand their situation. Through

lack of regulation and supply of money in market will occur problem for middle class
people majorly and rich people that there is restriction of money allocation.
 Lacking in donation activities- Through this many times has happened when they
donors will not willing in providing donation to local communities and social services.
This has impacted the working of this services which are working for the betterment of
people (Catalano, 2017). Through this many people who are working in this society and
communities has been influence and because of that many important growth will be
hamper from this. The impact will be quite later on this society and the result are very
disturbing as this society is connected by many innocent people and making the condition
worst for them. The requirement of money or donation is essential for this society as this
need to be considered accordingly.
 Lowering the growth rate- This is important impact that faced by country UK as this is
necessary for them to understand the working of different society and communities and
will reduce the overall growth of economy. Many times it happens when they do not able
to proceed with the further activities and process and face certain problems in their
organisation and that will lead to certain complications. For many communities and
social services also been influenced and that was not been so difficult to survive in near
future. This is important for every society to have this growth to achieve the main
objective of nation and leads to certain problems. The will create the difficult in many
ways and comes with following hindrances in the social economy. Some necessary
changes need to be done in order to improve the performance.
 Deprive of benefits- Many activities and functions are related to the financial planning
and some advantages are related to their cash benefits and investment. Through various
cuts in budget will reduce certain financial benefit for social services, communities as all
major function run by investment which is done by local government (Kelly, 2019). This
is important to note that these were necessary part of every country and needs to be
considered carefully. This society needs regular money to survive as many lives are
associated with them and has to work to fulfil their needs and requirement. These social
services were doing many welfare programmes for needy people and require certain
funds to fulfil their requirements. The proper allocation of funds are necessary for these
communities as they are working for the welfare for needy people and lack of money

make them to survive from various issues. Big businessman will not be interested to
donate some money and help and that will lead to face some issues.
 Local government schools- In the country UK, local government are also part of social
services run by government to educate the poor and needy children. Such schools are
working through funds and donation by government and needs to be consider as
important part for the society of economy and leads to necessary development in the
economy (Luo, Brancolini and Kennedy, 2017). Due to this many children education
will effect from this step by UK policies. The flow of money leads to reduction in heavy
investment and that facilitates in proper application of many activities and functions.
Children social care services faces dilemma of giving quality services and facilities to
children and making them disabled from many ways. They sometime provide foods,
cloth, education and shelter to many poor children and that require good amount of
money and donation from government. Due to this lives many poor children will impact
and proper education and other benefits are difficult to provide them. The quality of
education will decrease and other facilities were also effected and that makes it difficult
to improve it after major decline in the growth rate. This is important to note that this
local government are very useful to provide best services and education to poor and
needy young and children.

The data that is require in this research is from different perceptive and that leads to many
views and opinions on the report. The study in this research is depend on secondary data and
summarising the whole topic into various manner. Some necessary point that need to be consider
while making the important decision of cutting of budget in UK and how it impacted the overall
situation of economy (McLaughlin Jr, 2019). The impact of this action on various communities
and society are as follows-
 Many people are surviving from this action that is taken by government and leads to
certain issues in the management and the ways through which this action could be
minimised and the need is to consider the importance of social service and communities.
Some basic requirement are not only gives the major benefits but also leads to certain
issues. As the declining in the budget will impact the demand done by many ways by
many communities are impacted.

 Through the studied data the results which is gathered are quite disturbing from the point
of view from poor people as they largely depends on budget allocation by government.
Their demand and supply has been impacted and they are unable to fulfil their necessity
like getting employment, shelter and any other benefits from non profit organisation.
They are normally depended on this activates and social services which is provided by
government or any other NGOs and their survival need are totally depended on them.
Basically the normal people are not much impacted by budget cuts in UK. Some
necessary groups of people were highly influenced which is directly connected to them.
As due to declining in the budget in UK has reduces the capacity of spending the amount
in the welfare programmes and other non profit organisation.
 From the data, it is observed that through this action by government has reduces many
programmes which used to conducted for needy people from different communities and
that create inefficiency in economy (Odede and Nsibirwa, 2018). The need to consider
that some important organisation has to be provided with monetary help from the
government. The requirement has increased of many people who are working for these
organisation as they need regular need of money to carry out certain activities and
functions. Some necessary changes has to come to cover the problem of company.
 Reducing the budget has slow down the activities and growth of whole UK but major
impact has faced on those who are completely depended on the government policies and
rules. So, main objective should be country to maintain the condition of them as they are
essential part of economy development. The increasing in the inefficiency in the
management of NGOs and other related organisation has created problem for them and
face many issues related to the money transaction. Some necessary requirement needs to
be developed and maintaining the effectiveness id compulsory to ensure proper working
of the organisation. This is important to note that many these organisation will not able to
fulfil their needs and requirement and concern with certain issues and difficult to
implement that in order to consider the main problem.
 For local government schools this will create the problem as they are not getting enough
investment and donation from government and that will lead to face many difficulty.
There many schools which are completely dependable on the donation from the
government and other welfare society and due this it create inefficiency in the education

system of children. The necessary changes were not made to ensure better working and
that occur a main problem for these organisations and local government schools. Apart
from that the impact will be longer in this system and always create problem for the
economy in near future (Seraji, Allah Tavakkoli and Hoseini, 2017).
 There are many local communities are there which used to conduct many programmes
and activities from different perspective and has been impacted by this budget cuts in
UK. As due to this many necessary changes can not be made from this and hinders the
progress of this communities. Their demands were increased and as well as their supply
has not able to meet properly. The need and their financial requirement were reduces to
some extent as they were not getting the proper support from government and through
that many lives of people has been affected from this decision (Young and Maley,
2018). Data of UK is differ from different perspective and occurs as major problem for
the economy and local communities. Their problems are very important to consider as
social services and communities are essential for the growth of economy and declining in
the budge has caused the issue in their regular activities and function of their daily
routine.

ways and that benefited in achieving the required result and helps in reaching to the outcome.

problems. It is important to consider the needs and demand of this social services and
communities as they are also playing important role in the welfare of people. Their are many
changes that has to be taken in the process of this action and making appropriate policies that
could prevented from this issues to the social services centres. This problem has created the
mainly to those who are directly depended on the government (Torres, 2018). There are
necessary changes need to be adopt in order to reduce the impact of this step on sensitive area
like NGOs, Local communities a and lots more who are willing to help to many needy people.
Overall the deficiency in the budget has big issue that need to be consider and it influences the
working condition of many organisation.

Reflection of the study
From the study of above research I learned the use of secondary data in the report and
making relevant discussion over the topic and giving the appropriate suggestion. I studied that
the impact of cuts in budget has impacted the social services and communities and making the
necessary requirement is made and the way it impact the overall economy. I observe the areas
where this ha influenced majorly on the condition of social services and NGOs who were
directly related to the financial need from the government. The areas which is basically effected
and the consequences has been studies and learned how to evaluate the issues properly. The need
of secondary research in this report has observe and how it uses in this research has learned. In
this topic there are many areas are covered are important and know how to deal with them in
order to reach with some solution. I have studied different ways to study the topic and methods
like secondary in this research and learned the impact and consequences that helps in completing
the report and making appropriate suggestion for the study.
