I did confidently and made myself familiarize with webcam and microphone. I kept
clarity in my words so that one can understand what I wanted to convey. I focused on
communications skills as well because pauses in interaction can distract the mind of others from
the main topic. Along with that, it amplifies disinterest of people from ongoing conversation. I
made sure that my communication flow should be in an effective way. It is necessary for video
recording to keep your eye on camera because, it would not make a good impression if I am seen
as looking down or up while speaking (Waldron, Johnson, Saul, Waldron, Chong, Hill & Hayes,
2016). Good visual impression skill is also important at the time of video recording; I followed
the same skill and made my video effective.
I demonstrated on-camera presentations skills in my video recording that entails body
language, gestures, facial expression and eye-contact. Posture keeps significant value at the time
of video-recording. I have sat on the forward third of the chair bottom with my legs at a 90-
degree angle and my feet flat on the floor. This posture was helpful to me to breathe accurately
and speak enthusiastically. I made my gesture effective and firmly and framing it according to
the camera shot. I wore smile all the time because smiling is not only warm up the visual
presentation but also increase the interest of others to watch video till the end. I made sure at the
time of video recording that my eye should be on camera lens because to do not same can make
feel clients that I am not connecting with them.

On-camera presentation skill, communication skill and confidence skill are key skills for
video recording. These are necessary to get engaged with clients in an effective manner because
without having these skills, one cannot interact and convey a message to the clients. On video
recording, it is required by the person to look at his clients so that he can read their body
language. The role of the communication skills is vital in interacting with each other as it is
helpful in increasing the attention of client towards message. Communication should be clear and
concise on certain topic so that the client can understand in an easy way (Schweizer, Plessner,
Kahlert, and Brand, R., 2011. With the help of the communication skill, the employee can
engage withthe client in comfortable manner. On-camera presentation skill demonstrates the
confidence in the person that brings interest of client in the conversation.

In the context of demonstrating my strength, effective communications and on-screen
presentation skills are helpful to me in getting attention from clients in a sophisticated manner.
As I mentioned above that I did confidently the video recording that facilitated me to describe
what I wanted to say. Strong communication gives definite information in a process that the
recipient can understand and make use of (Dixon, Belnap, Albrecht & Lee, 2010). I have
identified that the on-screen presentation skill of mine increase the confidence to convey a
message in an effective manner. With the help of this skill, I got to know that the confidence in

business.

Powerful speaking skills are a definite way for the clients to embrace the message that is
conveyed through video (Flexjobs, 2015). However, the demonstrated skills while video
recording is enough better but it can be improved by taking consideration of some factors in it.
These factors are extra attention to the powerful speaking skills which can be improved through
practice. Make communicating at best a top priority. Work on improving the kind of
communication style that shows the leadership style one wants to link (Silverman, Kurtz &
Draper, 2016). There are some points mentioned below through which the improvement could be
made in the improvement of demonstration of the skill.
 It could be improved by objective help in examining whether I am connecting with my
audience efficiently, and in what places I can strengthen my performance. It could be
improved by seeing the whole video through which I can examine the area, which
required changes.
 By focusing on pace, tone and pitch of the voice to develop the interest of the audience in
the video (Wave Video, 2019).
 It could be improved by using highly effective format to developconcisely and result in
oriented video presentations.
 Be confident while you speaking, it enhances the self-interest on specific topic for which
the video is making.

I will improve my practice by following below-mentioned points:
 I will master my message in order to address the person I want to reach. For this, I will
write down first about what I need to convey. It will help me out to not get hesitated or
confused regarding the message.
 I will focus on practice in being powerful communication skills because practice makes
confident. Confidence in me regarding communication can bring the attention of the
client towards my message. Along with that, I can gain their trust and faith in my words
that build good relations between us.
 I will keep the centre my attention towards SMART objectives which would be helpful to
me to go through regarding required details in a productive manner while making a
video.
 I will not get discouraged by how much work completes into the process of making
video.
 The use of right equipment is necessary for making video and for this; I will pay attention
to required material such as camera, good lighting and sound.
By taking consideration of the above point, I can improve my strength in the context of making a
video. I have learned through this assignment that the role of the communication skill and on-
screening presentation skill is huge in getting attention of the audience.
