INTRODUCTION
Health status of entire population can be improved with the help of effective community
projects of awareness. It consist the efforts of care practitioners and government in order to
provide appropriate information to people for maintaining their health condition. However, it is
essential to provide proper knowledge to citizens about precautions and health issues for
encouraging them to improve their health condition (Bunch, 2016). The present report is based
on improvement of health & well being of people by creating community project focussed on
awareness of pregnancy among teenagers. It will focus on relevant aspects about which
appropriate information should be provide to people in order to make sure about their better
health condition.
MAIN BODY
How people’s life experiences, socially, politically and economically impacts on their health/life
Social approaches are very important to be carrying out for improving health status of
overall population living in a country. It is necessary to conduct effective health promotion
projects in order to increase the knowledge level of people so that they can take desired
precautions for remaining well being. However, it is essential to provide sex education in schools
and provide proper information about negative effects ion early pregnancy on their lives.
People has various experiences about their lives which can be divided into positive and
negative that impacts on their life in future. It has been analysed that people learn from their bad

experiences and failures to improve their lives but few of negative incidents are very effective
which impacts negatively on mental or physical health of an individual (Turner, 2017).
Meanwhile, some of incidents are really terrible which make a permanent image in mind of a
person as they get disturbed when they saw similar activity around them and may become
unconscious. For example, a child get tortured at their childhood in dark room for along time
which impacts on his entire life as he feel scared in dark rooms at his young age.
Social factor basically includes the entire society which plays an important role in life of
every individual. Support of society is very important when a person is facing severe situation in
their life to remain well being. However, when an individual is suffering from am emotional
shock or other crisis then support of neighbours and other people on society is very important to
maintain confidence of them. If people in society criticise a individual who is already suffering
from a terrible condition then a person starts to remain isolated and never face society which is a
symptom of a mental health problem.
Political factor consist government rules and tax regulations which impacts on entire life
of a citizen to fulfil their daily needs and wants. These norms are mandatory to be followed by
people while attempting different tasks of their life (Heinze, Banaszak‐Holl and Babiak, 2016).
However, increased tax rates create problem for individuals for disturb the financial balance of
their lives.
Economic factors consist budget of people and rate of inflammation which create
problem of citizens to gain desired services for maintaining their health status properly. It has
been analysed that limited budget of people is not sufficient to gain expensive medical services
which is not favourable for better health of them.
Sexual education in schools and home
The sexual education in schools and home is very important to make them understand
about changes of body and remove their wrong perceptions about the same. It is necessary to
start talking about sex when they are young and continue this conversation as they get older to
make understand correct time of pregnancy. However, it has been analysed that teenagers are not
able to accept the physical and hormonal changes in body which create various questions in their
mind. It is essential to remove their confusions and provide correct sex information to the which
facilitate to prevent any kind of wrong step in future by them (Vernooij-Dassen and Jeon, 2016).

body which support them to feel positive about their own bodies. In addition to this, it has been
analyse that younger kids are more interested in pregnancy and babies as compared to
mechanics of sex.
The discussion about sex in early age is helpful to create an honest, open ad clear
communication among parents and children which is very important, specially in the age of
adolescence. An open communication remain supportive to kids as they become free and
comfortable to speak with their parents regarding the trials of adolescences including
relationships, anxiety, depression, use of alcohol or drugs and sexual problems. Meanwhile, it is
evaluated that the best education strategy is to starts talking about sex earlier and then continue it
as child get older. Parents are required to become an initial source of information about sex and
make sure that a child is getting correct knowledge about the same. It is helpful and protect them
from attempting risky task in future as they grow up. Moreover, it is observed that boys want to
be men so that parents should teach them to become a good men.
At the other hand, some of parents are not in favour to talk with their children about sex
then care practitioners should make them understand that a comprehensive sex education doesn't
encourage kids to have sex. It is necessary to provide information to kids about their changing
body parts (Siegrist, Wahrendorf and Siegrist, 2016). Sex education consist another very
important part the use of contraceptive to avoid unwanted pregnancy and avoiding sexually
transmitted disease (STD). However, it is very important to make kids understand about STDs
because they have severe impact on lives and some of them has no cure in medical field.
Contraceptive methods
The contraceptive methods are helpful to avid unwanted pregnancies and helps to remain
well being sexually. It is also supportive to avoid number of sexually transmitted diseases
(STDs) which has no cure and leads to death of an individual. However, STDs consist a group
disease or infection which get transmitted through sexual mode such as human papillomavirus
infection, genital herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV/AIDS and syphilis. Moreover, it is
essential to provide information to children about different contraceptive methods and their
functions to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
Long acting reversible contraception (LARC) consist intrauterine methods including
hormonal IUD or IUS & copper IUD and implants which are helpful to prevent pregnancy.
However, hormonal IUD release a progestin hormone into uterus that cause thickening of

responsible for preventing ovaries from releasing ova and thins uterine lining which prevents
occurrence of pregnancy. Copper IUD prevents egg from attaching the lining of womb. Implants
consist implantable rods matchstick sized that surgically inserts under skin in woman's upper arm
to avoid unwanted pregnancy which has been done by progestin hormone released by inserted
rod.
Hormonal contraception can be considered as short acting hormonal methods including
injection birth control and progestin only pills for preventing unwanted pregnancy. However, it
also consist combined hormonal methods like combined oral contraceptives, contraceptive patch
and vagina ring that contains synthetic estrogen (Ethinyl estradiol) and one of many progestins
for inhibiting ovulation and thickening of cervical mucus.
Barrier methods are formulated for preventing spermatozoa from entering uterus in
order to avoid unwanted pregnancies. It consist male condoms, female condoms (femidoms),
contraceptive sponges and spermicide as these can be used by people easily. However, it

cervical caps which block entry of spermatozoa in uterus (Chatterjee and Noble, 2016).
Emergency contraception consist two effective methods like copper IUD and

Make the teens understand the impact of an early pregnancy on their life
The information about contraceptive methods to prevent unwanted pregnancies and
sexually transmitted disease should be provide to teenagers. It is helpful to them to remaining
clear about every related aspects which prevent their risky behaviour in future. However, it is
essential to make them understand about important of different types of contraceptive methods in
terms of using them because these procedures are helpful to conduct family planning.
Sterilisation or surgical methods are used when people do not want more children in their family.
However, it is necessary to make them analyse about effects of early pregnancy on their life.

Every person is required know about actual age to conceive a baby because a woman
should physically and mentally prepare to have a baby. Early age pregnancies has several
complications and it may leads to death of a baby or mother (Kellehear, 2016). However,
pregnancy in teenage is harmful for mother as well as the baby because after birth she is not able
to take care of her child properly. In addition to this, it has been analysed that a girl is not
mentally and physically prepared for having baby which are responsible for creating
complications. Moreover, the girl is not prepared to face problems and situations which occur
after pregnancy in body and reflects as few of symptoms in mother. Teen mothers are not
capable to face number of signs sleepless nights, arranging child care, making doctor's
appointments and so on. A teen mother is not mature enough to take care of herself and the baby
and early age is also responsible for developing severe complexities at the time of delivering the
baby.
There are some of after effects which are faced after delivering the baby including
difficulty to make bonding with own child. It consists number of other factors such as
overwhelming fatigue, feeling worthless, anxiety, panic attacks, thinking of self harming or
hurting the baby and difficulty to enjoy those activities which already one did. Overall, it si
essential to make teenagers understand about negative impacts on early pregnancy which helps
to prevent their risk attempts in future.
Encouraged friendly conversation with parents and school consoling teacher about situation of a
pregnancy
Parents usually feel bad to discuss about sex and pregnancy because somehow it is just
against their cultural values or norms. They think that such aspects cannot be discussed between
parents and children. In this condition, care providers should encourage them for providing
relevant information to their kids by making them realise its importance for their children.
Meanwhile, this situation has one another option to solve by efforts of teachers for managing
comfortable atmosphere for students so that they can share their confusion easily. It has been
analysed that kids also feel shy from parents but they can share such problems teachers about
situation of pregnancy (McKenzie, Delland Fornssler, 2016).
It is essential for care providers to encourage a friendly conversation between parents and
school teacher so that they will deal with situation of pregnancy in proper way. Government
should organise health promotion event to encourage citizens to remain capable to handle the

contraceptive pills (ECPs).
