INTRODUCTION
Social work is the practice based profession and academic discipline which concerns the
families, society, communities and groups so that the basic needs and requirements are met along
with being socially well (Healy & et.al., (2020)
The report will analyse being the social worker practitioner the role will be analyzed. Along
with this, the contribution of social worker will be analyzed along with the skills and strengths
which will be incurred by the role which is being played. Furthermore, the identification of the
field was analyzed in which I had great interest in. An approach will be identified for eco –
social analysis and orientation. Articulation will being done for the work which maintains
optimism and commitment for purpose of right practice to be done in accordance effectively and
in significant manner possible on large scale.

Overall essence of a social worker
Social Worker is an individual who helps people in solving their problems and coping up
with the issues by helping them on solving their problems which are related to health and social
care (Featherstone and et.al., (2018). Social worker aids the individual in having the major
concern of what type of helps does individuals need in their working and then social worker
takes care of them which include services which they render to individuals. Social work is best
suitable when the medical model is being applied which incorporates the measurable importance
and the skills which help in ensuring that the patients are referring to the medical team which is
being allotted to them. The necessary referrals which are related to the medical model help
patients in making the best use of the services which are being provided to them through it. It
therefore, refers that the social work is incomplete without the medical model being applied
which is the base for which the services are being rendered to the patients in an effective manner.
Brief articulation of professional practice framework
The ideological position which I am in is the practitioner. And in this process I am the
social work practitioner who is taking concern for the following purpose to serve the best and
making the challenges face while I work in the social work. I being the practitioner will take

concern of the various social work practices which helps the individuals in dealing with their
social and health care variations and changes which are being observed (Salajan & et.al., (2019).
I will also ensure that all the various factors of how the things are initiated in the social care
practices are concerned and which initiates in taking major concerns for what is to be done
regarding the services that are to be provided to the people or the individuals. I will take major
concerns for the practices which will take the major diagnosis and assessment of the social work
which I will be performing. Thus, the major practices which I being the practitioner will concern
is the major changes which will ensure that all the social care practices and the health of the
individuals is concerned in account of their mental and health care. Thus, my focus will be on the
factors which will assist me to become a proper and effective practitioner and this will initiate
the major practice of how I will perform my work effectively and efficiently on significant basis.
Identification of what I contribute to practice as a social worker
I wish to contribute to mental health practice as a social worker and in this I will take
concern of the mental health problems of the individuals. I will take care of the individuals who
are having mental health problems and through this I will be taking concern of how the mental
health problems will be solved and the individuals will be able to initiate their problems so that
they are at ease with their health and social care problems (Fraher and et.al., (2018). I being the
mental health practitioner will be able to take care of the ways in which the whole society and
the individual will be benefitted. Through this, I will be able to contribute in helping the
individuals. This will be the major concern for me as being in the field of being of practitioner of
mental health. The main purpose of the whole role to which I am combining the factors of mental
health causes. My role will deliver the positive aspects of what mental health effects are how to
cope up with such issues in an effective and efficient way possible,

The relevant experience that highlights skills and strengths that I would like to practice is
that by being mental health practitioner I will keep in mind clear communication practices which
will enable me to analyze the problems which the individual has or is likely to occur in their
behaviours. I will be taking concerns of the changing patters which will lead me to have the skill
of taking decisions appropriately and this will help me in knowing what my key major strengths

which I incur are (O'Hare, (2019). The skills which I will also focus upon having patience and
listening to the problems and issues of the mental patients. The major key skill which I have to
imbibe is to take corrective actions for which the whole of the process is being done that is me
being the mental health practitioner. The record keeping of the clients, empathy, compassion are
will be some of the skills through which I will be able to take the corrective action towards the
practices for the mental health issues and problems. I will incur strong ethics which will help me
to contribute positively to the issues of the society and this will ensure effective work and
process to be taken and completed effectively and in significant manner.
Identification of the field of work that interest you and how experience, knowledge and skills has
prepared practice in the field
I identified that the field work in which I would like to be interested in is the mental health
practitioner as this will help me to work in the social and health care sector in a versatile way
possible. This will also help in evaluating my capabilities and strengths whether I can actually
play the role of being a mental health practitioner and will be able to serve the individuals
residing in the society on large scale (Worden, (2018). This will help me in knowing what
actually are the major issues and the problems of the individuals who are being the patients.
Immense amount of experience, knowledge and skills will be required as this will initiate the
process of being on the scale of delivering the best practices which I will be delivering with the
providence of all my information and the knowledge I will be incurring in the process. The skills
which will be needed to be prepared in the practice of what are the requirements of how the scale
of new things and the essentials will help me in having the compassion and empathy to tackle
and handle the problems and the issues to be solved by me in the respective manner. Social work
in multicultural community refers to the term which describes that there are various cultures,
nationalities and backgrounds which are being considered in this phase for expansion of the work
in which social workers are being playing important parts. Along with this, various challenges
are also being observed in social working. To overcome stigma and barrier it is very important
for social work to be worked in an effective and efficient way. For overcoming the stigma,
proper treatment should be taken, getting help from the social workers, not to go into isolation,
not to equate with the illness etc.

Identification of an approach to practice characterized by an eco – social analysis and orientation
Social work is the practice which helps the individual in taking the concerns of how the
health and social work is done and this initiates the process of how social work is initiated. The
most important part of the social work is the major approach which is being performed for the
purpose and this is the major concern of how the approach deals in making the social work
effective and efficient. The approach is being described as follows –
Social Learning Theory – Social learning theory is also known as social cognitive theory
(Rotter, (2017). The theory is seen as learning and observing behaviour of individuals and this
done by observing the patterns of how individuals behave in the society and this creates the
major source of how the things are being created and learning is being initiated for purpose of
what are cognitive skills which the individuals possess. The individuals in this theory experience
behavioural patterns which are being initiated for purpose of what are key source areas which are
being observed through the social learning theory.
Articulation of how you will work in the way that maintains optimism and commitment to
socially just rights based practice
Optimism and commitment helps in the right practice in maintaining which makes the most of
the work effective and through this it makes the major reason of how the work is being done so
that there are effective and efficient ways in which the social work becomes more important in
serving the society and this makes the most of the work in making it effective for the sake of
how the optimism and the commitment in the work is helpful in providing the what is to be taken
by the means of effective and efficient work for the purpose of being just right on the scales
significantly (Heckenberg and et.al., (2019). The right practice helps in maintaining the optimism
and commitment for the work which is to be made effective so that it is analyzed the making of
the process and the procedure to be created in significant ways. The major thing which is
observed in the whole process is that the work is to be done on active pace so that the socially
being contributing to the society.
Social work around children, family and indigenous people – Social work around children
will help the children in getting involved with the society and they will learn many new tings in
how to live along with the different type of people around them (Ferguson, (2017). Social work

around families will help them in getting involved with the society more and the people in the
families will be more concerned about how the things will be done and the people will be more
engaged in knowing what social work actually is. Social work around indigenous people is the
most effective way in which they are able to learn what are the services which are being
provided to the patients and other people.
Why social work is important – Social work is important because it helps people and the
patients in knowing what services and health care they actually need. Social care is every
important for the whole society that there are people and patients in the society which are the
ones who are aware of what are the services which the society actually needs (Duffy, (2017).
With the help of social work many people or individuals are able to take concerns for society and
this has helped in making the process of how social work is creating awareness among the people
in a significant way.
What roles social workers are playing in community development, social policy, climate
change etc – Social workers are playing a very significant role in the community development,
social policy framing, climate change etc. Social workers in the most effective way are
contributing to the society at large scale and this is also done by applying the social policies
which help the social workers in carrying out their work effective (Ledwith, (2020). In climate
change, social workers are generating the eco – environment protection plans so that they can
provide the patients and the society on large scale.
CONCLUSION
Thus, it is concluded from the above report that being the social worker practitioner the role
is analyzed. Along with this, the contribution of social worker is analyzed along with the skills
and strengths which were incurred by the role which was being played. Furthermore, the
