Introduction
Online communication is defined to be interaction among
individuals through verbal and non-verbal mediums. The style
of communication is widely accepted as it carries a higher
degree of flexibility and convenience among people who wish
to communicate their feeling and opinions to each other.

My Areas of Expertise
As we all are aware of the fact that working in social
work sector requires a right balance of skills of
professional, emotional and cognitive skills. These
are essential in order to carry out a task in right
manner. My areas of expertise as a social worker are:

• Active listening
• Emotional Intelligence
• Tolerance

Current Knowledge of online
Environment
In this current scenario I possess basic
knowledge of online environment as it is the first
time that I have taken up online learning for the
very first time. I have garnered adequate
functioning of the ways in which things are
carried out in the context of online learning
environment.

To complete this unit that I have undertaken, I
possess adequate skills and attributes necessary
to fulfil requirement of the same. I am capable of
fulfilling this particular due to following

After completion of the unit learning and communicating online I
will be possessed with skills and attributes which are as follows:

administration in the country.
2. The skills in the social service delivery will be enhanced.
3. It will improve the ability to critically analyse contemporary
and social issues in context of a country.
4. The skills which promote well-being of people and
communities have improved.
5. It will also help in considering and altering actions which
strengthen civil society actions

Course Goals
With the end of this course I wish to possess skills and attributes
which are as follows:
1. Application of discipline in work related context.
2. Exploration of complex relationships.
3. Right analysis and critique of data which has been collected
during research.
4. Critical thinking skills are desired after completion of
bachelors in social work.
5. The ability of an individual to differentiate between facts and
opinion is another skill which one needs to expect.

It can be concluded from the above report
experience is a greatest teacher and when
coupled with reflection it can lead to ideal
results.
Undertaking of this course helped in enhancing
skills and capabilities which are essential carry
out a task in the social work sector.
