Role and responsibilities of social workers
Role and responsibilities of health and social care professionals is to further bring on essential care for individual facing
conflicts, provide medical assistance and also improvise health and social care services (Monrouxe and Rees, 2017).
Ola, is pupil at Alex Primary school and has Dyslexia and is known to social services, where nurse provides treatment and asks
about Ola injury. The nine Belbin team roles are: shaper, implementer, completer/finisher, co-ordinator, team worker, resource
investigator, monitor-evaluator, specialist roles and plants role (Belbin, 2010).
Within case study, Ola young girl is suffering from Dyslexia and is neglected by parents. The social worker has to be actively
taking specific care for Ola by providing counselling and also being polite, courteous.
Problem solving and care for Ola, so she doesn’t feel neglected.
Information and medical support.
Providing audio books as an alternative to reading to Ola , so she is able to improvise Dyslexia.
