Q1.
I will communicate this information to Imogen and her family members in a meeting
where face to face interaction with them can be established. At the time of such meeting, I have
to tell them that how Imogen will get best treatment at Red Cross Home care which she will not
be able to get at her home. Along with this, she will get a better environment which will not
affect her health in negative manner.
Q2.
The potential issues which are faced by Imogen are like separation with her brother Tim
and taking care of baby at such new place. I will encourage Imogen to share her problems as if
she will not ask then maybe it will negatively affect her health. After getting her views I can
clarify that Red Cross services are best for young mothers so she can take care of her baby.
Along with this, I can assure her that her younger brother will also be able to take care of himself
or he can live with the mother.
PART B
Q3.
Imogen liked the idea but she doesn’t want to live there without her brother Tim. She
collects some information about Red Care Home and their services online. I will negotiate with
her by listening her needs and requirements. As in some cases or circumstances, the care home
allowed closed family members with the young mother. So, I will represent the opinions of
Imogen in the case meeting.
Q4.
I will make sure that my advocacy work will be consistent with the needs and preferences
of Imogen. For this, I have to represent all information and circumstances in the meeting so that
they will consider this that Imogen have to look his brother so she can live with him in Red Care
Home centre. So, in this way she will be able to fulfil her preferences by taking care of her baby
and brother. I have to collect all facts and figures so that work can be ensured in smooth manner.

Imogen doesn’t want to be a part of case meeting so on the behalf of her I will be
attending the case meeting. I will represent all facts and figures that Imogen can’t leave her
brother alone as her mother will not be able to take care of Tim. He is younger and need care so
that Tim will be able to understand the situations in which he has to survive. So, this will also
represent that I understand the preferences of Imogen and I will can present these in meeting.
Q6.
I will first represent my all ideas to the Imogen so that she will be able to know that I
clearly understand her feelings and preferences. By doing this, I will make sure that yes I can
represent all needs and goals of Imogen in the meeting.
Q7.
I have to challenge the negative attitude and unrealistic expectations of Imogen as I will
tell her the benefits of educations or employment. If she will become independent, then she can
take care of her baby and brother by providing them effective services. After knowing the
advantages of these, Imogen can lead her life in respectful way.

I can offer some effective options to the Imogen that will allow her to move forward in her
life. As she can choose the career in which she has some interest and the work also make her feel
happy. When she will be happy with her work then through this her long term as well as short
term goals can be achieved. By adopt the course she likes make her very much confident in her
work.

Imogen has to set some long term and short term goals which can help her in leading
forward. The long term goal is to established an own crèche outside the Red Care home. Along
with this, short term goals are like “to take care of her baby and brother” and “to provide
effective services to her baby and Tim”.

I will support Imogen by providing some resources so that she can develop some strategies
in order to attain specified targets. Some of the resources are related to funds, physical and so on.

Along with this, I have to enhance the morale of Imogen so that she will feel confident and after
that her long term and short term goals can be achieved.

I will take care of the activities which are performed by Imogen in order to achieve her
long term goals. Through this, I will be able to make sure that how much she is active in his
overall process.

There are two potential funding sources which can be used by youth work activities. These
sources are like national foundations and other government bodies.

There are some kind of mental illness like anxiety disorders, mood disorder and psychotic
disorder. The symptoms of anxiety disorder are like panic attacks, nightmares and symptoms of
mood disorder are like fluctuations from extreme happy to extreme sad. The symptoms of
Psychotic are like hearing voices. Delusions.
Q14.
I will use some strategies which will help me in avoiding the mental illness in my work.
These approaches are like to get training for the work and along with this risks factors should be
analysed which can impact my performance.

Employment: It can be described as the state where an individual is being employed with
some work activities.
Physical and mental health: It is the state where each and every person identify their
own potential and they contribute into the community.
Housing: It may have referred to some kind of building where people may live with their
family members in order to fulfil federal regulations.
Community support: This is related to some services which are offered to individualised
so that they can build their self-confidence and help other people.

Social inclusion: This is a kind of act where some groups are formed and they feel an
important part in a society.
Education and training: These are provided to the people so that they will be able to
enhance their core competencies in a particular area.
Financial support: It is related to the financial resources which are used by an individual
in order to make some project possible.
