INTRODUCTION
Human service can be defined as the study about interdisciplinary field along with goal of
meeting human needs based on applied knowledge, focus on prevention as well remediation
issues and improves quality of life of services for population. Human services includes health
visitor, social worker, child abuse workers, police office, nursing, speech therapist and probation
officers etc. has goal to provide high quality services to the public. Social work refers as the
professional work which concerns with supporting individual and communities for enhancing
well-being of individual and communities. Social worker refers as a person who offers their
social services to public. Social worker is not only provides social supports as well encourages
public to improve their abilities which improves quality of life. The main goal of the social
worker to support people for developing their skills and their ability which they can use to
resolve their issues. Another objective of social worker to alleviate public's lifestyle by fulfilling
their needs. To understand significance of human service will take example of Social workers
who offers their services in key moment such as emergence, development and possible change
over the time. This essay covers foundation and origins of the social worker. It encompasses

The concept of social worker
According to Sparkman-Key and Reiter, (2016) social worker can be defined as a person
who offers their social services to public who suffers from social evils. Social worker offers their
service to help people not for private gain. The main goal of the social worker to meet public
objectives by offering their required services as per the situation. Some Newcomb, (2018) have

illustrated in their research paper is that social work profession is good profession which is not
only help to improve public life but also lead success in countries development. Social worker
plays essential role in country such as they dedicate their career to take impressive action against
injustice for equality in gender, faith and social orientation. Social work profession got own
identification in 19th century. The main reason to take this initiative is that most of the public in
country are poor which gives direct threat to country. So, government implement poor law and
organize system to offer care to them. Government implements social work as profession system
and allows people to join with this group if they want to offer their services to public. In early
stage social worker supports public to offer their education, poor and health services.
However other perspectives Sheingold, Zuckerman and Shartzer, (2016) have explained
through published article is that social worker plays vital role in UK's country because they help
poor to offers job opportunities so that earns money and redeem their life style. On the basis of
research finds out that most of the public who was suffering from their poor issue, improves their
life and well-being within country. In 1918, Qualified social worker- hospital team is organized
who supports patients to meet their needs by offering training, resources and other type supports.
As illustrated by Barr, (2019) currently social workers regularly focus to public issues
and takes action against injustice which is developed by private and charitable organisation. Now
various social care centres has established to offer social care services to public. Healthcare
service centres has established as well which offers health care services to those people who
suffers from health illness, mind illness and epidermic diseases.
Analysis of relevant policy and legislation
General social care council (GSCC) is established in 2012 August 1. This organization
includes various type of social workers i.e. child abuse, psychologist, psychiatrist, nursing,
medical doctor and mental health weaker who offers social services based on the profession. It is
regulated by HCPC who focus on social worker work profession at the workplace. National
Heath service center also established by UK's government. NHS helps those people who suffers
from health disease (Satagopam and et.al., 2016). NHS supports women who faced in justice in
workplace in term gender inequality, harassment and others. GSSC provides support to those
children who is drug addicted.
Changes occurs during emergence case

Social worker plays essential role in emergence condition for example currently corona
virus is big risk for each country because it is communicable virus which spreads abruptly. It
spreads by touching and sneezing. Sill there is no medicine which can prevent it's symptoms.
UK's government takes this issue in serious condition because most of the people in UK comes
in contact. UK's government gives their response to enhance Health Service Department. The
main goal of the department service is this to update public about corona virus so that public
keep themselves safe from this current situation. NHS also plays significant role they help those
people who is suffered from coronavirus by providing allopethic medicines. NHS's worker gives
guidance to public how they can keep them safe from this situation. Government also organizes
public information campaign where social workers informs people hand washing is most
important because virus is communicable which can spread by touching and sneezing. Washing
hand for 20 second is specially focused by Social workers where they explain the reason that
hand washing prevents and slows rate of spread of corona virus (Angera and et.al., 2018) . UK's
government also launches coronavirus action plan. The main goal of the action plan to align
strategies which can use when coronavirus outbreaks in country. In this plan adds both type
perspectives first what action can be taken to slow spread of coronavirus. On the other hand,
second perspective is that when coronavirus spread out then what action can be taken to control
over it. Social worker faces various challenges such as economic issues, lack of productivity and
lack of resources while offering social services to public. To overcome this issue provides funds
services so that they can offer social services well form.
Changes in policies and legislation
UK's government to do changes in legislation policies over the year. Social worker
regulation establishes in 2018 by UK's government. The main goal of this law to give rights ,
power and duties to social workers so that they can work legally without interruption of any
department. Government recruits qualified social worker who offers high quality health care
services to public. GSSC also establishes by UK's government which includes child abuse,
women protection, mental health providers. To influence

 To offer high level social services should organize social work qualification which is the
best way because workers without social education can't offer best services, this strategy
is not only improves social workers working skills but also improves well-being of them

within workplace. By the social work qualification can give task such as competing task
within minutes.
 Provides emotional supports is also good option to improve social worker's well being
because sometimes they become frustrate to work prolong time.
 To offer technical education which is also good strategy because it can improve their
working efficiency.
 Skills and development classes should offer to social worker by UK's government
because it supports them to learn new skills and enhance their existing skills. By the skills
and development classes can enhance quality of services which they offer to public.
 To provide appropriate funds such kind charities which offers social services because due
to economy deficiency they unable to provide social services on wide scale.
 To recruit large number of employee's is also good option because most of the hospitals
and camps requires high turnover of employees so that they can social services to people.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded significance of human services in the country. Social worker has
been highlighted in this report because they offer each type services like health services, child
abuse, education services and social care services. Various legislation such as Social worker
regulation act which is currently formulated by UK's government. The main goal of this
legislation to give power, duties and rights has been summarized in report. Here also has been
analyzed that social workers have to face various issues like they don't get funds that causes they
unable to conduct their campaign services for public. Additionally, lack of employees
involvement in social work declines productivity of social workers within workplace can be
concluded in report. Social worker is most important topic for country which helps in future to
improve their social services because currently public faces various issues relevant to health has
been concluded in report.
