Socio-ecological issue
Socio-ecological issues are the issues which unknowingly occur due to social and human
activities. When ecological systems change or affected by the change in human activities, issues
arise in such a situation is socio-ecological issues. Socio-ecological issues are crucial issues, and
should not be taken for granted. Due to human activities, the average temperature of the earth has
increased drastically, which is a big socio-ecological issue, which encourages climatic disasters.
Global warming is the chosen issue, upon which the literature review is provided below.
Literature Review
Socio-ecological issues and sustainability
In this particular journal, the issues related to marine aquatic life, and the issues which marine
life has to face due to human behavior and activities been discussed in this particular journal.
MSEAS 2016, which is also discussed in this journal also aimed at solving issues related to
socio-ecological systems. This journal discusses meeting conducted from 30 May to 3 June,
related to challenges been faced due to socio-ecological systems, and how some additional
systems and components can enhance this system (Thébaud, 2017).
This particular journal discusses the extra burden been put up by the growing urbanization, on
the social and ecological systems. This journal claims that such extra burden pressure, over the
social and ecological systems by the growing urbanization can only be tackled by innovative
development processes. This article studies the helix model, which is based over the multi-
stakeholder innovation which will affect the societal subsystems and socio-ecological transition.
Such ways provide some more detailed knowledge over the tackled processes and challenges
(Baccarne, 2016).
This particular paper is based on the resilience of communities, which is important for the aspect
of global economic upheaval, climatic issues related to the change in the socio-demographic
changes. In the last 10 to 15 years, resilience issues have significantly increased. It has been
found out that less work is required to study. Land degradation and environmental degradation

playing an important role in such issues of rising global warming. This particular journal
discusses all the factors responsible for the global warming issue (Kelly, 2015).
Systematic design and aspects
This particular journal discusses all the interdependent factors which environment and society
and linked within the framework of socio-ecological issues. A quantitative analysis is used in the
correlation analysis of the Canary archipelago, detected that the human landscapes are linked
with the potential shifts developed in the environmental changes concerning the natural
components, and cultural agrarian Islands. The Socioecological issues related to this Island is
discussed in this journal. Such issues are related to the objective, which should be served for the
system and the development of the global warming issue (Schmitz, 2018).
The two interactive videos have been discussed in this journal for enhancing the learning and
perception of the video towards socio-ecological issues and systems. The results of such videos
have shown that students are completely agreed with the complexity of the videos, and all the
issues involved in the video are understood according to the socio-ecological systems and its
linkage with the human behavior and activities. These videos completely discussed the objective
to serve socio-ecological systems. It is important to note that global warming should be studied
first according to this journal because the behavior of humans is responsible for such changes
(Smithwick, 2018).
This journal describes how community learning is important in the aspects for understanding the
needs of the global warming and other socio-ecological issues to be studied thoroughly. There
are tools such as information and communication technology (ICT) tools, are important to
promote socio-ecological sustainability, and its development. There are some characteristics of
the socio-ecological sustainability such as socio-culture needs to non-formal pedagogical ESD
strategies which is also a crucial part in this journal (Aguayo, 2017).
Uncertainty in socio-ecological issues chosen
The ecological solidarity which is a crucial law imposed in the national park policy in 2006 is
discussed in this journal. The main objective of this journal is to outline the improvement which
took part in the Ecological Solidarity provided that the Environmental pragmatism and adapted

management system can be ensured that it should be used for the improvement in the
understanding of socio-ecological issue (Mathevet, 2016).
This particular journal discusses about the vulnerability of the coastal communities which are
affected by the marine climatic change, which is available and required for the adaptation of the
strategies, including all the barriers which is not allowing the system and other socio-ecological
aspects for the availability of the Tanzania mainland in Pagani and other regions (Gasper, 2019).
This journal discusses how green landscaping can improve the planning and other processes of
the multiple environmental aspects which can help in establishing some specific implementation
for the residents living in the cities. A general understanding of contempered human-
environment interactions are issues which are related to the important assessment for the
research over the relationship between humans and urban green space available (Kabisch, 2015).
Uncertainty and risks
This journal is dedicated to the kind of fishing which might hamper the aquatic life or marine
life. The socio-ecological issues related to fishing and how a kind of fishing can hamper the
living conditions for the fishes and other aquatic life should be monitored also so that it cannot
be hampered furthermore. This journal is completely dedicated to finds ways of fishing (Drakou,
2017).
Uncertainty and risk are two different things. Uncertainty tends to become a risk if not monitored
on time. Uncertainty in the Socio-ecological issues like global warming is natural disasters are
uncertain but they can be converted into risks, once been impounded for the risk it has been
mitigated.
