various aspects of human life in contemporary society
Sociological and psychological theories are the studies regarding how feelings,
thoughts and behaviors of human are influenced by the implied or actual presence of
others. These theories are backed up the empirical investigations that are conducted
using scientific method.
There are different psychological theories which aims of providing model for
having a deep understanding of emotions, feelings and behaviors of human. There are
various types of psychological theories such as development theories; Kohlberg’s
theory of moral development which focuses on growth of human beings throughout
their lifespan.Mini theories which explains the aspects of human being relating to how
self esteem is developed or childhood socialization takes place (Denzin, 2017).
Sociological theories such as structural functional, social conflict, feminism and
symbolic interactionism. Like social conflict theory of sociology views the society as
a system where groups of people are not equal, which is the reason why they are
consistently involved in conflicts and change.
Thus, it can said that theories of sociology and psychology have significant
contribution in understanding the human behaviour.

There are four main perspectives of sociological theories such as; structural
functional, social conflict, feminism and symbolic interactionism.
Feminism is one of the perspective of sociological theory which views society as
