Racial as well as financial discrimination in the educational institution is the major concern in
this article. The scholarship system which has been introduced for the students who belong from
the lower income background, is not sufficient for surviving in the university campus. The poor
students are being involved into the community detail program where other students go for the
development act6ivioties. The discriminatory approach towards the poor students in the
educational sector has highlight the dark reality of the society. The Unfair behavior towards the
students who belong from lower income group, highlights the college admission scandal. This
behavior in the educational field creates disillusionment and frustration among the students,
which indirectly influence the culture. In this article, Smith has highlighted the actual scenario in
the educational institutions behind the photo shopped images and others promotional activities in
the educational sector.
Analyzing the situation highlighted by Smith, it has been identified that class differences among
the students as well as racial discrimination between the white skinned and black skinned

from four-year universities. It is true that as per the elite law schools, the 60% students come
from the strong financial background, on the other hand rest of the students come from lower
income group which increases the dominance of financially strong students on the educational
sector2. Especially in the University of Texas or Harvard universities, any affirmative-action
policies have not been mentioned for reducing the discrimination, which has created the situation
more complicated.
In can be concluded that improper attention of the university authorities towards the
discriminative practices in the educational sector, such situation gets increased. By continuing
this it can be said that in order to bring the positive approach against this situation strong policies
needed to be introduced.
