Non-invasive questions are the type of open-ended questions which are not leading or pushy
in dealing the personal topics. The use of these questions may be in form of getting

knowledge about the child or person with young ages. Non-invasive questions are one ended
questions that have a clear idea as they ensure the child will keep respectfully talking to you
if you ask the question in an open-ended way. This can establish a bond of trust and lead
better communications with a child and young people (Child Abuse Reporting, 2019). An
example of the non-invasive question when asked by a child or young person, there is thought
of understanding and child respond effectively to the respondents. The effective wait for the
response is the best measure as the child will reflect on what he had understood with the
thoughts.

Task- 2
I will respond to direct disclosure of sexual abuse with a combination of negative and
positive emotions. Disclosure of happening abuse is to provide appropriate interventions and
support to people who had suffered it. Disclosure of sexual abuse identifies and need to
educate young people as they are the victims who are suffering from child abuse. I would
respond with calmness and guide them for calm appearance, find a quiet place to talk,
reassure the child to take time and mandate report with plenty of time. It is the most hurtful
decisions to disclose about sexual assault as offenders usually had great deal in ensuring that
a person should stay silent. I would first listen to the whole scenario and affirm them that it
happened with a person, support and safety measures to be put with some proof of the
documents. There is a protected act that recognizes The Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2013

Leading questions are the different type of questions that pushes respondents to answer in a
particular way, based on the way they are being framed. Some of the types of leading
questions are as follows:-

The non-leading questions prepare a witness to offer various ranges of answers that the

I would calmly respond to the child with positive hope, listen to the child by simply
understanding the whole situation which had already caused him. Reassuring the child that it
is the right thing to tell get rid out of it in the subject matter of abuse that happened with you.
I will respond to the child in the best way I could and help him to provide the solution to
complain, register FIR for the whole concern. To tell the child that this is not your fault, as
people find this to be right from their perceptions. This is the best way to take about this
concern positively and confront the situations (NSPCC, 2019).

An open-end question refers to the questions that had more than one-word answers. Close
end questions are mostly answered in only one word with a specific piece of information.
Some of the examples are (Farrell, 2016).

I will get information about my particular job with the description of the role that clearly
states job duties and job responsibilities to perform and match with the required job profile.
These are known as job profiles and position descriptions that will tell about where I will be
fitted for the particular job. I will go through research with the particular profile and match
with my requirements provided on different portals like websites, online platform, Google
and with different job profiles. So, these are some way by which I will proceed to get
information about the role I am searching.
Task-8
Underperformance or poor performances can be exhibited with the description or outside job
you perform well. Underperformances are the biggest failure and perform in every workplace
to perform several duties in the standard time of the business. It is important to perform and
reach the targets and goals as an individual and as well as the organization level. It is most
important to underperform in job role as this typically involves an employee who fails to
perform duties and expectancy to meet the requirements of a job. There are many
circumstances that employee is performing more towards external factors as he is in more
practice towards the external environment of the job role. To perform with best practices, one
need to learn about the effective motivation techniques, removing ineffective board systems,
challenging nature and providing many incentives to employees (Fair Work Ombudsman,
2019).
Task-9
To protect the privacy of a child or young person, I will protect entire document or any other
sequential information which can help me to protect children. Child protection policy will be
based on shared responsibility across various ranges of human services professionals and
provide licensed children services. I will report to child protection with a belief that it is
compiled with care to support, protect the children and with whom they are professionally
involved. There should be protective concerns with observing indicators of abuse or neglect.
To adapt the qualities of humbleness, secured information, one must handle the child and
young person to protect themselves (VIC Government, 2018).
Task-10
The procedures which are followed by suspecting signed notification of harm to top-level
authorities is a crucial step towards providing assistance to children’s. A report is made with
the personal contacts in the form of documentation for the safety or the well-being of a young
person or a child. Reporting is an essential part of accessing the required information to the
person who is suffering from the cause. The process starts with document alignment or the
allegations, inform service director or coordinators, compiled with informing manager
children services and to notify the director of corporate services to a general manager
(NASET, 2019).

terminology. Notify the direct administrator or assigned someone to call in the various

With the suspecting of an incident of harm to a child or young person, the report is to be
made and include various aspects which are caused by another person to children. To report
child or contact with the divisional child protection, there are various services which are in
taking my children to reside in the best possible manner. A belief of reasonable grounds with
provided information informed by the person during the actual course of actions. The report
must include cleared instructions, registered medical practitioners, early childhood workers,
and youth justice workers. The report will include details about the child or name of a young
person with the requirement of age and address. With the mentioned indicators of harm to
child or injury which he was facing with the negligence was to be mentioned (Australian
Institue of Family Studies , 2019).
The report is made to have all the information listed with the concern of written consent
which is to be made while reporting an issue. Proper documents are to be made with the
personal contact details that are preferable to provide details so that the officer or the
authorities took lean interest in issue or incident that has already happened. So, when the
report is made, child safety officers know how to take their steps in the best possible way.
The on-going responsibilities include acting as a support system for the child or young person
with influencing them to stand with their decisions. When there is a formation of reports,
these should be made with concerning child protection by phone (UK Government, 2016).
Task- 12
Engagement in child matter is the concern which is necessary because of the intrinsic setting
between communities to help in educational improvements with young people and their
families. It is necessary to get benefitted with collaborative relationships with relevant
agencies. Aligning with the agencies is the best way to the ultimate objectives with the most
important aspect of collaborations. Collaboration with the agencies benefits the families and
children to overcome the aspects of various situations as increased the uses of services,
access of various services, holistic services of provisions, provide concise information and
holistic service provision. Involving various services is an important part of collaborations
and this leads to an opportunity to be heard. It is necessary to make good contacts for a longer
period as when something gets wrong, they can help out from them to the end of the results
(AIFS, 2011).
They are the one who uses the concept of meeting with agencies and discuss the mutual
person community to resolve the issues. These are mostly held by communities or regional
level. If there is work of collaborative behavior of the agency, with creating, planning and

Organizations respond in better with collection agencies to promote and support the person in

facilitates joint planning for the future development of the agencies. Increased staff morale is
being known to work in isolations and problems can be solved easily. So, there is a necessity
to work collaborative in partnerships or making contact with relative agencies (Effective
Multi agency Partnerships, 2019).
Task-13
Code of Conduct and ethics are the set of rules that outlining the norms of society and matters
of the community for obtaining with practices. A company code of conduct is a prescribed or
written statement which protects the business to grow with the expectations of the employee.
A conflict of interest is an official duty to serve the interest of the public in handling family
and community matters. There is a board of management which oversees the different
organizations and have an interest in rendering the various projects. With the disclosing of
the interest and board values, it can redesign if the conflict is significant or just stopped in
making effective decisions about the particular conflict of interest (ACWA , 2019).
Conflict of interest is a real conflict that resists in changing the whole scenario and in general.
The line of work which is the reason for conflict and that is advised that one party and then
the other come to me regarding the same matter. In the government department, the
resolutions come with people who are oriented with the management to actively participate in
the whole structures. A financial interest is always aware of to handle the matters related to
family and community. Various principles are to be followed by the employer as social
inclusions, responsibility for employees and protecting the reputation of the employees.
Social inclusion has an active role to play in fulfilling the expectations of the society in
government or state territories (Vic Government, 2019).
Task-14
Child or young person wants to deal with many challenges like disability, gender inequalities,
ages or sexuality of a person. Better education about sexuality is important for all the children
and young people as they can fight with what is happening wrong with them. Support the
information which is available for developing relationships and expressing the gratitude
towards the same. Culture also influences the target towards disable person, as there is less
priority for all the disabled people are as society sees these people with different perceptions.
The perception of the person changes from time to time and sometimes results in abusing
nature and gender of a person. Abuse is a form of maltreatment of a child.
The children and young person are affected by this due to negligence and they inflict harm
while failing to act to prevent harm. Indicators of abuse tell about the guidance is intended to
help those children with a comprehensive guide and proper inquiry should be made following

it. Emotional abuse involves the continual emotional mistreatments of child and sometimes
it is also called psychological abuses. It includes blaming, scapegoating, humiliating,
constantly criticizing child, making a child to perform degrading acts, being absent and
failing to promote a child cultural and social development (Child Matters, 2019). The ten
indicators of emotional abuse and physical abuse of young and children that affect the
abusing powers of educators are as follows.
The physical indicators are prolonged vomiting, dressed differently from other children in the
whole family and frequent psychosomatic complaints. There might be some signs realizing of
negligence and emotional abuse. The child or young person seems to be unconfident or have
the capability to control their bad emotions. There is a difficulty in making or maintain
relationships with other people. They act differently as this is inappropriate for their ages. It
is sustained with different behavior indicators as well like attempted suicide, lower self-
esteem, poor peer relationships, passive behavior, sucking thumb, deliberately harming of
animals, fire settings, low tolerance of frustrations and them always complaints with lots of
avoidance (NSPC, 2019).
Physical abuse is a behavior which is defined as perpetrated abuse like illicit drugs, attempted
suffocations and excessive discipline, beating or shaking from a long period. There are
various physical indicators like burns, bite marks, bruises, broken bones, welts, lack of
treatments and loosened teeth. Behavior indicators of physical abuse are uncommunicative
nature, disclosures, homelessness, and little emotions when they hurt overly compliant
attitude, self-harming, avoidance of physical contact and the children covered arms and legs
by clothing in warm weather (Department of Education, 2019).
Task-15
Child protection is an area of public law where all the different authorities may intervene in
settings of a family because of the allegations of significant risk to children’s. The child
protection legislation is a list that contains a list of occupations that is mandatory for the
report. The different states and territories make their legislation according to the needs in the
country for the protection of the child. Mandatory reporting is a legislative document for the
selected group of people in a suspected case of abusing with the child and result in negligence
of the government (AIFS, 2017). In every state or territory the person who concern about a
child fall under many grounds that makes a report to statutory child services with protection.
The core components come with the intake of the child protection as an essential part of the
same jurisdictions. The assigned worker has a priority rating which is accessible as required
by follow up (Austarlian Government , 2018).

Service workers always know the legal and legislative requirements when clients need them.
They used to provide various care of ranges in client home and facilitate independent living
centers in residential areas. The workers have a serious responsibility to know the actual

and plan accordingly. Common law refers to principles that expand from judicial decisions
during a course of actions to be taken. The various duties and responsibilities include as

registrations. Legislations are made under law and acts of parliaments. This should be defined
as what is being legal and what is not. In contrast, decisions about responsibilities have legal
precedence with their community expectations and attitudes (Resource learning , 2015).

Policies and procedures are an important part of every organization. The role of policy is to
address pertinent issues as what constitutes the behavior by employees. A procedure, on the
other hand, tells about the sequence of following steps which are to be followed in a
pervasive and consistent manner with a response to policy violations. A policy clearly defines
a set of expectations and provides a set of references for employees (Sanelli, 2018).
There is more consistency, stability, equality, guidance, timeliness of responses, safety,
knowledge of boundaries and cost efficiencies associated with the organization who follow
standards and procedures in their work environments. It helps to reinforce and clarify the
standards and expectancy of employees. They may form part of an employment contract and
provides different types of policy in its formations. Well written company policies aim to
achieve higher success in any business anyways. They are also beneficial in assisting
employees who defend themselves in unfair dismissal claims (Australian Business, 2013).
