The vision of Gandhi’s for India society was Swaraj which means independence.
Swaraj also included solving what is considered major problems within Indian society. The
key to attaining Swaraj lay in satisfying three conditions, namely, the spinning wheel, Hindu-
Muslim community and the removal of the untouchability. Gandhi even had a vision of a
balance between individual freedom and social responsibility. Gandhi’s vision for the free
India comprised struggle for independence.
The cast system varied with the geographic location and time. Everyone should have
the qualities of all four castes; the cast should not be an issue in that. The unique quality of
one’s can predominate in one. But a person overall devoid qualities related to the casts other
than his own. The mother dying for the sake of her kid is identified as Kshatriya. On the other
side, the husband who gives up life to protect his wife is identified as Kshatriya. It is
considered that 4 divisions are not a vertical section but a horizontal space where all the
castes stance on equality and doing the same services as allocated to them (Rai, 2017).
Mine have been brought to the task of extricating the mysteries of caste. But it
remained the domain of the unexplained in the Indian independence movement. The cast is a
wide problem both theoretically and practically (Vithayathil, 2018). The upper castes
maintained their supremacy and monopoly of control over the government at the time of the
Indian independence movement. The caste system had substantial influence over the people’s
access to power. On the other side, lower caste had limited access to the powers.
