Problem
The problem that has been identified is a pressure and stress created on the patients as
they have to keep on telling their stories. This new access is one of the very useful methods that
have been launched in the field of mental health care service. This is aimed at improving the
lives of the mentally ill patients who have some traumatic incidents associated with them.
However the problem that is identified is that the patients have to undergo several stages in order
to get this treatment (Trudel et al., 2017). They have to pass through the interrogative rounds
with any different health experts like the General Practitioner, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, and
others (Osborn et al., 2016). As a result of this the patients are made to narrate their stories that
create a sad emotion within them. However if this is the case then the patients will not be able to
come out of their problems. However it must be noted in this context that the major aspect of this
new access is to make sure that the patients can be brought out of their traumas (Tall, Hurd &
Gifford, 2015).
Thus in order to make the process of treatment go on smoothly the system has to be
upgraded. There are some kinds of changes that must be introduced within this system. Methods
like voice recording systems or the modern EMRs system or the electronic media record
systems must be used. This might turn out to be very useful in the field of the successful
implementation of the new access treatment system.
Capabilities
This modern scientific device will be very useful as it will have the capability of
transforming the information’s of the patients into data that can be stored. The EMR or the
electronic media record systems helps in collecting and recording all the important health

record of the patients right at the initial times. Thus if this is used in case of the new access
treatment then it will be easier for the practitioners to keep a stored and detailed account of all
the past health records of the patients at one place. This system will be helpful for all the
departments who are going to cater to the patients under this new access treatment system. This
system will also be capable of recording the progress of the hospital.
This will help in creating an interconnection among all the doctors like General
Practitioner, a psychologist, a psychiatrist, and others. Thus if the patients is narrating about his
or her story at one instance it will be recorded via the EMR. This will save the patient from
narrating their stories over and over again. This will help in reducing the traumatic effect that
could have been created on the patient due to the retelling of their stories every now and then.
Apart from ties it will also help the doctors to have all the detailed information regarding their
patients at one single place. They will be able to use the same as and when it is needed without
going through the hassle of calling upon the patient and making them tell their stories. The
electronic health record system is also one of the most important methods that can be used in this
aspect (Meadows et al., 2015). It will be helping the doctors to move along with their patients
and vice versa. The patients will be able to move with their stories or their information while
moving from one department to the other or from one hospital to then other (Clegg et al., 2016).
Benefits
The benefits are-
 It will help the patients to get their treatment in a organized and peaceful manner without
the trauma of retelling and re narrating their stories
 It will be helping all the different departmental heads to stay connected with the patient
via these platforms

 It will be helping the indigenous people to stay connected with the doctors from distant
regions.
 This is a scientifically integrated electronic platform that helps the doctors from different
departments (who are looking after the patient) to stay in connection with the patient.
Apart from this the indigenous youth will be getting a proper means of staying connected
with their health experts even from the interiors where there are less health and medical
facilities available.
 The indigenous people often feel shy or neglected while speaking in front of the non
indigenous people. Thus it is through these devices that they will be able to narrate their
stories right at one instance. These methods will also be helpful in improving the
communication between the patients and the doctors of the Headspace hospital.
