The sociology basically comprises of study of society which includes key pattern of the
existing social relationship along with having implication about human interaction and culture.
The current project comprises of discussion about the key aspects of micro-sociological and a
macro sociological perspective along with impact of parents on living matter of child. Further, a
magazine article about reducing social inequality is also there.

Key aspects of a micro-sociological and a macro-sociological perspective
The micro sociology is looks at small scale perspective and interaction between individuals
like conversation or some group dynamics while macro sociology is associated with large scale
social perceptive and process like overall social stability and change.

Functionalism It basically aim at providing a theory for whole society

Marxism These are mainly large scale theories which are

of postmodernists who see society as a group of
individuals from diverse social classes who are
competing with each other for political, social and
material resources (Brass, 2021).
Feminism This macro perspective mainly comprises of a range of
social movement and ideologues which advocates and
favour equal women’s right in society based on ground
of gender equality (Kleinman, Copp and Wilson, 2021).
Neo Marxist It basically presents the new Marxist thoughts which is
comprises extend and amended parch of Marxism

macro sociology perspective comprise of fact that macro-sociology provides a big picture of

associated with small scale interaction in society between individuals. The similarity among
micro and macro sociology perceptive comprises of fact that both focus on leading an improved
individual’s life and interaction along with a stable and equitable society.

Does who your parents are and what they do for a living matter?
Introduction
Parenting matters most for effective development of a child as they found and lead to
children’s emotional health and also makes efforts for better emotional adjustment of their child.
Parents are the one who provide everything for a child that is helpful for their development
(Zelizer, 2021). Sometimes it has been also observed that parents do not have much money but
still they do everything to arrange a simple and meet the needs of their children.
Main Body

Parenting supports effective mental and physical growth of a child since childhood
through providing a positive atmosphere to live and care to have emotional stability and
sociological development. Parents matters a most on living of child as they are the very first
individuals who provides opportunities for child to develop positive relationship and also impact
there way of communication and interaction in everyday life of child. Who your parents are
always have a significant impact on living matter of a child as a well do and rich parent would
support a better education and health for its child while on contradictory it is difficult for a poor
parent to meet all the needs and expectation of their child (Žagmešter, 2021). Thus, an analysis
can be made that social class of parent is having biggest impact on living matter of child as
Working-class parents are seen tend to have a less authoritative along with a more authoritarian
parenting style as compared with the middle-class parents. Further, it has been seen that working
class parents tend to have less autonomy in jobs thus they can only provide fewer financial
resources to their child which limit their education and employment level.
Further, it has been also seen that the lifestyle and ethnicity of parent also matters living
of child as children with mothers who have high stress during the time of pregnancy are used to
have issues and prone to mood disorders since their childhood. Further, smoking by parents
during childhood and mother’s smoking during pregnancy can lead to issues of diabetes in
children and also leads to low social values and ethics who are more prone to have bad eating
and social habits (Vissing, 2021). Beside this, an analysis has been also made that the single
parent and gender of single parent is also having significant impact on living of child as single
parent families are seemed for likely to grow in a financially and emotionally challenged
circumstances. Further, an analysis can also be made that the behaviour and ethical implication
of parent also matters on the living of child as a child whose parents are criminal seemed to face
a greater risk and likelihood to become a delinquent as compared with a child whose parents are
law abiding. Thus, a significant influence of parenting from criminal parents is seen on child
which is not only related with criminality but leads to a poor supervision and metal and social
development of a child which also impacts education and employment level of an individual (Ba,
2021).
Conclusion
On the basis of above easy a conclusion can be made that that the social class and
ethnicity of parents have direct impact on living and education of child as child from working

class families used to have lower incomes. Beside this, it has been summarised that child from
single parents are more affluent towards two parents home.

Reducing social inequality can take a
collectivist approach
Reducing inequality is has become the major
concern for government of many countries
around the world and any steps are taken by
them to ensures well-being of people. It has
been seen that in an emerging and
developing economies more emphasis has
been given to equality in society along with
having improvements in the standard of
living which is seemed to flourish the
population of nation. Further, social inequity
leads to waste of human capital along with
diminishing the human potential in growth
based in sociological analysis of people.
The concept of social inequality is mainly
associated with the presence of unequal
opportunities and existence of diverse
rewards in society for different social
position and status of a group or society.
There are two sociological approaches
which are exists and explain the reason of
poverty and social inequality exists out of
which one explanation blame poor for
inequality while other tend to blame society
from having inequality. But in both the
scenarios the presence of social inequality is
a threat and issue in the economy of every
country. Social equality is an issue that
emphasis on unequal distribution of goods
and resources and burden the society
through leading creation of problems like
abuse, criminality, lack of education,
marginalisation and unemployment.
Thus, it has become vital and
important for government and other social
agency to take vital steps to keep a check
and reduce social inequality. The main steps
which are taken by government to reduce
social inequality comprises of increasing the
minimum wage rate to solve the issue of
poverty along with expanding earned
income tax on rich to maintain a balance.
Further investment in reduction and making
tax code more progressive along with ending
residential segmentation are some other vital
step which ensures reduction in inequality
from the society.
Sociologists explanation for social
inequality is based on educational
attainment, wealth, poverty, occupations,
and power which lead to social inequality
between individuals and groups of people. A
collectivist approach is the one which
focuses and prioritize good of society over
the welfare of some individuals thus, the
steps like government investment in heath

camping to direct people towards reducing
smoking and other bad habits tend to
seemed to widen heath inquilines instead of
narrowing them. It has been analysed that
the current government policies for reducing
inequality in society has taken a collectivist
approach which is focusing more on whole
society instead of meeting and directing
individuals towards better habits. Therefore,
a sociological perspective is required and
need in all individuals in order to guide and
direct them towards good habits and
motivating the to have social equality which
more successful in narrowing the gap
between inequalities to ensure a more stable
and positive society.

On the basis of above project, a conclusion can be made that micro and macro are tow man
perceptive of sociology out of which macro is related with whole society and provides a big
picture while micro is more conserved with individual perceptive. Further, it has been also
summarised that parenting leads a significant impact on the living of child which have direct
influence on there development and growth. At last, a summarisation can be made that social
inequality creates many thereat for society that is taken a collectivist approach.
