1RESEARCH PAPER OF SOCIOLOGY
Socialization is a life-long process where we learn about the social norms, ideologies and
customs. The process enhance us with necessary skills to participate in society, so that we can fit
into our society and develop our own identity and self.
My parents are the one who taught me values, behaviours and social norms. This is a
structural-functional concept of sociology. It is being learned in home from my parents. In my
home, the way my father talk to my mother or to guests during an invitation helps me become a
better person and to respect all human beings even if they are disrespectful to you.
As I joined school, I came across many other students and made few friends. We never
discriminate whether we are rich or poor or what is our social status. We just became friends and
till now we are friends irrespective of our background. This is social conflict concept in sociology.
During my school days, the opened a social media account where I have become friends
with people from different country or nationality but I never disrespect that person’s nationality or
country. This gives an idea about the feminism concept in sociology.
In my school, there is no discrimination between boys and girls. This gives us a healthy
environment to interact with each other and respect each other genders as well. This clears the
concept of feminism sociology concept. It helped all the student a lot to grow mentally and be a
better person in our future. Even equal opportunities are given to all the student to showcase their
talent and they are not being judged on in terms of their gender. This makes me proud and become
a better person as it helped me to grow in my life.
In my school as well as in my high school, preference were given to the special child. We
all use to hang out together in the campus. It helped us to respect them a treat them as a one of us.
We use to communicate with them in symbolic language and never let them feel as if they are
someone else. I need to say even all the student respected them and accepted them the way they are
and never treated them bad. This is a symbolic interactionism concept of sociology. This values
helped me to become a better person.

positive direction so that we can pull out best from ourselves which will ultimately make us a better
person in the future compared to the person we are right now and should never forget this concepts
because it will help us to grow in life.
