Use of Science for Discovery of Truth
I agree that science is the only way for discovery of truth. Moreover, people are living
in such a world which is based on the science right from our playing toys to their smart phones.
In addition, I believe that there are other issues which have direct impact on our life right from
climate change to medicines in the form of vaccinations (Meng et al. 2015). In this situation, I
think people must have the knowledge of science for the complete discovery of facts and
figures and make an appropriate decision. Here, the essay will discuss my point of view
regarding the use of science for the recognition of truth.
I believe that science discovery is not about believing something but it is about
knowing the actual facts which proves to be practical in the nature more than theoretical
concept. There are various things which are beyond our thinking but they do exist and can only
be discovered through scientific approaches (Heather 2014). I believe that without scientific
approach nobody would have ever imagined that an ordinary object is made from combination
of electron and proton. Even most creative persons like Edison and Newton could have
dreamed about their discovery without help of scientific approach. Science is all about
believing our instincts which is completely experimental based. In most of the cases, we
mostly rely on data or evidences as compared to our instincts which are considered as base of
the science.
I believe that thinking of a model which is made of some plastic material and looks like
shape of car or plane cannot be bring in to life without help of science. It is the science which
explores the reality beyond our imagination and helps in putting model on the road. By taking
the example of globe which offers us knowledge related to various locations and continents
cannot be developed without mathematical and computing models which are important part of
science discovery (Van der Aalst 2012). Science use application of testing and experimenting
things which is based on logical thinking and explores data in order to offer evidence to be
believed and there is no other approach to prove truth up till now. I know that these approaches
are kind of models which are not completely true but there is no other way of finding out truth
about anything and therefore they are still remained undiscovered.

Without science I believe we will not be able to understand gravitational forces which
have helped us to develop such models which are better enough in designing plane that ensure
safe landing of plane from one country to other country. Science has helped in discovering
changes which is happening in climate and has offered us indications towards climate changes
(Price, Aaron and Hee‐Sun Lee 2013). Although we are still dependent on other things for
knowing the truth but still scientific approach remains at the top of the priority by humans.
Let us take one of the best examples of doctor. When we visit a doctor for some issue
first thing we suggest is to go through number of tests. Doctors suggests the prescription on the
basis of the tests which is the scientific approach to be used and they cannot make decision by
making guess. Without test result it is not possible for doctor to create proper treatment plan
for the patient and give medicine (Parker et al 2016). Although doing experiment is not always
possible but still it remains to be the most important concern of discovering reality. Even,
various companies are using human resource analytics as a base for recruitment process
because this approach helps the recruiter to explore the truth about the applicant which
otherwise will remain hidden because humans got expert in faking through practices. In this
situation, only analytics helps in knowing the exact ability of the applicant with proper
evidence and helps recruiter to have better understand of the applicant whether this person will
become asset for the organization or not.
It can be said that science can be considered as scientific realism is mainly focus on
reality of truth as their final goal. I believe that in science can be considered as one of the most
trusted approach which is used in learning in this physical world but at the same time it has
some limitations such as existence of God, objective of moral rules and so on ( Tennyson 2016).
In addition, it is hard to believe that aesthetic judgment which is based on evidence can be
completely true and not action of opinion.
