This statement of purpose aims to justify my condition regrading the scenario of my
failed attempt to pass my examination at my college. I have been a regular and a hardworking
student of the college, pursuing the course bachelor of professional accounting. Apart from
attending each and every class of my course semesters starting from week 1 to week 12, I
have done and submitted all the required assessments for all the semesters of my college
within the deadline. I furthermore aim to be successful in my life after the completion of my
college and thus I have been studying very hard and attending all the lectures of my
professors of my college through out the course year. This statement of purpose is a
thorough justification regarding that though I know I have failed to succeed and pass in my
examination, I still have that belief and confidence in me that I will definitely pass this
examination if I am given a second attempt to clear. I apologize for the scenario and request
the college authority to provide me one last opportunity , which I will take as a challenge to
prove myself and succeed in the examination.
Apart from lot of reasons behind my failure I would like to state some of the main
issues I faced before my examination that led me towards the failure in this time. I
furthermore want to highlight some of the main reasons behind my failure in the examination
despite of being hardworking and studious through out the year, these include disputes and
problems in my family. I had been facing some of the major issues at my family and some of
the family related disputes which had led me to high level of anxiety, concern for my family
members, depression and furthermore stress resulting me not to concentrate on my studies
and my examination. Stress has been one of the most heinous factors that is affecting the
human brain in the current decade and this stress has affected and impacted on my mental and
psychological wellbeing targeting my academics and my brain. I furthermore want to
highlight the factor how and why I got these much level of stress due to the sudden decline of
the health status of my father, who is one of the most important persons in my life. He had

been suffering from some of the major chronic illnesses back and before the time of my
examination his health condition worsened resulting in a shock and trauma among all the
remaining family members of my home. I was also left at a shock and got traumatised with
the news and had to rush back to see my ailing father since he is the person behind whatever I
am now.
Thus, I want to request the authority of my college to please consider this situation as
unfortunate and critical and allow me another opportunity or chance to re appear in my
examination As I told you some of the main reasons behind my failure in the examination
despite of being hardworking and studious through out the year includes disputes and
problems in my family. I had been facing some of the major issues at my family and some of
the family related disputes which had led me to depression and furthermore stress resulting
me not to concentrate on my studies and my examination. As per your knowledge I have been
a regular and a hardworking student of the college, pursuing the course bachelor of
professional accounting. Apart from attending each and every class of my course semesters
starting from week 1 to week 12, I have done and submitted all the required assessments for
all the semesters of my college within the deadline. I aim to be successful in my life after the
completion of my college and thus I ensure and promise that I will definitely perform well in
this time and give justice to the second chance. I have that level of confidence and trust
within me that I will study very hard and pass the examination with good marks. Hence, I
would request another chance from the college authority.
