2. I think group discussions between the two girls would help in developing friendship
between the two girls. However, supervision is necessary for averting the risks of
conflicts, harassments and discriminations based on caste, class, religion, race and
culture. My recommendation to the teacher would be to supervise the instruction
methods through training and post training tests. This approach is apt for mapping the
skills, abilities and competencies of the teacher towards controlling the interaction
between Linda and the African girl.

1. Prior to the arrival of the Japanese student, I would conduct a thorough study of the
culture, customs and traditions. This would help me to accommodate him to the new
culture. Some of the communication means can be:
Translators- for gaining a better understanding of his needs
Written communication- which would help him to avoid the instances of
stumbling in the speech
Spoken English classes- As he has some knowledge of English language, training
