Introduction
The computer and information technology are very important in worldwide business, and it is
responsible for increasing business profitability at a very high level. ICT is one of the
common strategies that is used in every business for proper business projects. The
communication technologies are needed for the betterment of the project and maintain all the
activities and functions of the business. The ICT provide various benefits in the business. ICT
is a very big application that is used in the business. The ICT application can be easily used
in the business and improves all the functions of the business. The ICT technique is very
much useful in the business; there are various process and guidelines that need to be used in
the business that needs to be followed in a good public image. This assessment is related to
the ethical considerations and ethical issues in the company that is used by the employees and
employers of the business company. The essay includes a case, and the ethical consideration
will include several issues related to the companies. The major ethical issues arise in the
business company, and then the recommendations can be included in this report that should
be prevented and justified.
Case Study
The case is related to the software development company. The responsibility of the
organisation has been given to the employee of the company to develop software for the
specific client. The employee who has been selected is at the senior developer. Software
development is related to the specific case of the company. The whole responsibility has been
given to the project managers to deliver the clients as per the deadlines. The project manager
needs to maintain the projects and asked about the software development status to the senior
developer. The pressure has been suffered by the senior developer regarding the deadlines of
the project. The project manager said to the senior developer to complete the software
according to the deadlines (You Tube, 2016). The client needs to take 3 versions of the
software, and this can be given to the particular clients. The three versions of the software
should be delivered within a very short period. After the development of the software, the
testing should also require for the better success of the software and delivered to the clients.
The pressure given to the senior developer forced him to do the work in a short period. As it
was clear to the project manager that work is not possible. The case is related to manage the
impossible situation. The ethics have been arising in permitting the senior developer to do

with the work. The quality of software has been managed to deliver the proper project to the
client. As the project manager only take care of the profits and deadlines of the project given
to the clients. The project manager did not take care of the testing and development of the
software. The project manager did not take care of the work burden and pressure on the
senior developer which is the reason to occur the ethical issues in the organisation. This can
affect the mental health of the senior developer, and it also affects the other employees
related to the project.
The ethics are related to the project managers and senior developers of the software. These
ethics occurs at the time of developing software. This can create a good image of the client as
well as the company. The ethics are very much useful in the proper framework of the
software development company related to the employees and employers (Sampson and
Makela 2014).
The other information technologies organisations are also related to these particular ethics.
Code of ethics
The committee of national management manages the code of ethics related to the Australian
Computer society. This society of ethics has some rules and regulations that are used in
making software for software development companies. The Australian society is related with
the code of ethics, and the members involved in the code of ethics keep the public interest at
the upper level and fulfil their interests related with the personal and business issues (Acs,
2019). This ethics code is known as the Primacy of Public interest. Honesty will also work in
the code of ethics. The service quality can also be improved by using ethics.
Case Analysis
The ethical issue related to this case is associated with the proper guidelines of the code of
ethics. This is related to the ACS code of ethics. This issue is related to the project manager
who only thinks about the profits and the deadlines of the projects and does not think about
the pressure suffered by the senior developer. The Project manager only considered the
completion of the software (Stahl, et. al., 2014). The project manager act is related to the
primary public interest and other guideline related to honesty is also breached by the project
manager. It has been understood by the project manager that work is not completed with

proper efficiency but then also the benefit of the senior developer cannot be stopped by the
project manager.
Recommendations and Justification
Some proper decisions can be used to avoid the situation related to ethical issues. The several
recommendations are used to manage the ethical issue is that the project manager needs to
say the senior developer to work with only one version of the software. This decision
improves the overall process of the organisation and increases the profits of the organisation.
By this solution, the senior developer can complete work on time and with more efficiency.
The client also satisfied with the project given by the developer. The business company can
get actual profit by adopting this recommendation. The ethical issue can be managed easily
by this process.
These ethics are very important to manage in the business to gain the profits of the
organisation. This can make the business successful. ACS code of ethics is very useful in the
management of ethical issues.
