Introduction:
The aim of this report is to critically analyze a journal paper which is based on the
concept of Project Management methodologies in order to identify the benefits and the
limitations due the deployment of those concept into the project management for delivering
accurate product to the customers. In this report the research is about the incorporation of
Systems-of Systems project management which consists the capability to effectively handle
all the meta-projects by enhancing the project management process. Followed by the above
concept this paper will continued by explaining the utilized methodologies into this research
in order to determine more accurate result to support the mentioned statements. In order to
support the critical review on this mentioned journal this paper will also describe the key
aspects which has been described in the mentioned journal in order to analyze the relativeness
of those findings with the targeted concept. Lastly, this paper will concluded by stating about
the validation of the selected journal as well as it will effectively discuss the key findings
which holds significant impact towards the success of the mentioned journal.

After successfully investigating the aspects and findings of the mentioned research
pare in has been noticed that the researcher has fundamentally focused to determine the most
effective project management method by which it can effectively address all the requirements
which is needed to establish a successful project development and management team.
Followed by this aspects in the selected journal it has effectively described the concept of
system engineering which has mentioned that the system engineering is stands for a specific
approach or procedure by which a desired product will deliver within the expected delivery
time. While discussing about the research paper it has effectively described the background
of the project management in which it has mentioned that project management has played a
significant role to develop several historical establishment. However, in this study it has
lighten up that one of the significance in of PM has been noticed in past 30 years [1]. Along
with describing this it has also mentioned that one of the most utilized project management
methodologies in the history of project development is the Project Management Body of
Knowledge (PMBOK) methodology. However, in order to identify most effective
methodology it has briefly elaborated the history of system thinking by stating that analysis
of system, system engineering is one of the major parts of system thinking. Followed by this
the relationship between the software engineering as well as the project management by
stating that project management helps to deliver the desired product in order to establish an

effective system engineering. Along with that the researcher has described the life cycle of
project relating with the system engineering in which it has described that the process of
project development is initiated by preparing a conceptual product design and it will then
proceed by developing a preliminary design. Followed by the above steps it will then proceed
by creating the detail about the product design along with that it will effectively discuss the
usability as well as the it will also consist a detail elaboration of the deployment and the
testing[2]. Followed by this analysis the researcher has effectively described the aspects of
System of systems project management methodology. In the discussion section it has
mentioned that the utilization of System of systems project management methodology
happens when a highly complex product needs to be deployed with proper implementation
feature. In the System of systems project management methodology it initiates its process
with the top down as well as the bottom up approach. The purpose behind this process is to
effectively perform the meta-system analysis, system transformation, system application

that this research paper holds significant findings about the benefits of System of systems
project management methodology however, the researcher should have provided a brief idea
about the limitations of the mentioned project management methodology.
