Introduction
This article defines the understanding the philosophy underpinnings of the software
engineering research in the information system. This article is focused on the discipline of the
information system that is needed to be followed by the business owners while processing any
project and business process as a whole. This report defines the role of Information system in
business success. This article has conducted a details market research to deliver quality software
to the business owners. It is realized that, some of the software development approaches are not
being clearly analyzed by the project associates.
This journal article proposes a software engineering research methodology and also
discusses the role of software development life cycle. On the other hand, the research work
suggests that software engineering can successfully meet all the scientific research criteria. The
utility if the software methodologies are also being identified in this paper. These details are
expanded in the IS body of knowledge. The paper mainly focuses on the review of a recent IS
software engineering research that reported in leading IS journals.
Discussion
According to Gregg, Kulkarni and Vinzé (2001), one of the major components of
information system discipline is referred to as the engineering of software to meet the
engineering research in information system are actually not successful defined. High rate of
disagreements are being identified in this research paper as whether software engineering
represents scientific inquiry or not. The way through which the software engineering is needed to

research work such as interpretive, constructive, positivist etc. It is essential for the project
associates and other project team members to follow the most effective research approach to
conduct the system. The researcher stated that on order to conduct any research work it is
essential for the researcher to use the most suitable and accurate research methodologies in terms
of research philosophy, research approach, research design, data collection etc. Two different
data collection approaches are there such as primary and secondary.
The primary data collection deals with collection of raw data and the secondary data
collection deals with different data those have been gathered from the secondary sources like
journals, articles, published journal papers. It has been identified that, in order to implement and
develop the research a SERM framework has been proposed in terms of a rigorous methodology.
The research stated that with the help of this framework, current practices and IS approaches are
evaluated. This paper also discusses the details of engineering research philosophy and it also
successfully compared and contrast the research paradigm. This paper mainly conducts a
research on whether the software engineering can be a research or not?. In order to identify
different business related issues it is mush essential to use supporting software systems. The
research work evaluates the detail research that has to be conducted to meet the research efforts.
The research have also identifies the details of the knowledge boundaries. It has been identified
that different programs are there which can be used by the project associates to meet the business
success. The natures of the software engineering research are also elaborated in this journal. It

has been elaborated that successful implementation of software development can successfully
govern and streamline a business. In order to promote and enhance the knowledge different ways
are available and the details of those roles and also elaborated in this journal paper. It has been
found that in order to address different issues the application of information system and the
program supports are also essential. In other words it can be said that, in order to implement any
business successfully the project manager is required to implement the information system
successfully by means of software engineering application. In order to conduct any business
successfully the project manager and project team members are required to apply appropriate
project development strategies as well. If appropriate and supporting development and
supporting methodologies are not followed by the project associates and business associates then
major operational and functional challenges will occur. The approaches of information system
are different and the knowledge is socially constructed by people associated to the project. The
journal paper also identifies six different types of methods those are associated to ethnographic,
hermeneutic, phenomenological and naturalistic. Though, issues associates to IS research are
elaborated in this paper but how these issues can be mitigated is not identified by the researcher
in this paper. It is essential for the researcher to identify the most suitable software process that
needs to be followed to meet the business objectives and other business level assumptions. The
reason for which, it can be said that, information system application in a business organization
cannot be easily conducted without proper supportive measures. Based on the scientific
knowledge the IS research and its application in the business organization are needed to be
conducted and must be measured successfully. These are also elaborated and illustrated in yhsi
journal paper.

associated to successful decision making as well. It is the responsibility of the project manager
other business associates to make that all the research phases are conducting appropriately to
meet the business success and commercial revenue. It has been identified the importance of
practical framework and theoretical framework as well. Some definitions of detail research work
are also being conducted in this journal paper. A systematic inquiry that will designed for
collecting analyzing interpreting and use data for understanding describing, predicting and
controlling are also elaborated and discussed in this journal paper. The context of the linguistic
theory is also conducted in this paper mentioning the goal of IS design and development. On the
other hand, Gregg, Kulkarni and Vinzé (2001) argued that, before conducting any research work
properly the addresses are needed to be identified.
Conclusion
From the overall discussion it can be concluded that, this paper investigates the
philosophy as foundation to conduct software engineering research in the Information System
discipline. The software engineering has establishes different research paradigm from the social
science. With the help of this paradigm accurate SERM framework has also been conducted. In
order to address this concern SERM framework is identified and elaborated in this paper.
Moreover, it is also identified that, and IS developmental concept is being conducted in this
paper. It also provides wider and useful metrics required for the software engineering
researchers. The system has conducted new research work to improve the network classifications
and to give effective enterprise model composition. The researches of the paper have identified
different major modeling approaches for the ultimate business success. The paper has also

also contributed in conceptual modeling approaches and its impact in long term and effective
