PRINCE2 but choose an appropriate PRINCE2 because it provide the better opportunities to
focus on initial to end point. Furthermore, learnt about the significant role of PRINCE2
methodology which always supports for calculating overall budget, scope, resources. It give an
accurate estimation so that it become easier for investing money on reward card application.

In my view there are several risk which can occur in project. These risk needs to be
identified so that it becomes easy to mitigate its impact. Besides that, measures and action are
taken to solve them. Similarly, in project of reward point card software, there were different risk
which were determined by me. The main was failure of project in which entire software
developed may get failed. This can occur due to technical error which is not possible to solve.
Another risk which was identified was lack of funds. In project it get delayed due to insufficient
funds. This will highly impact on project quality. There may be requirement of additional funds
either in cash, HR, or any other. Furthermore, schedule risk can also occur in it. Here, project
activities may not be completed within specific time. This will affect on further task or entire
project. Thus, it may led to delay in completion of project.
So, identifying all these risk I felt that there were some risk which could have been find
out earlier in project. This is because it would have helped in maintaining smooth flow of tasks
and successful completion of project. Besides that, project can be finished on time. Therefore,
risk of lack of funds could be identified earlier. It is because it would have led to allocating of
funds as per project activities. Moreover, at initial stage planning can be done accordingly that
what measures are to be taken in this case and back up is required or not. Through that, it could
have been easy to determine variation in budget which can occur. Also, appropriate financial
planning can be done of resources within project.
Besides that, I think that schedule risk can also be determined earlier. This will be helpful
in preparing of tasks in such a way that this risk can be minimised at initial level. In addition to
it, changes can be made into schedule at that time. So, it would have given insight on start and

end time of tasks and eliminating risk from it. Henceforth, project failure could have been found
out so that necessary steps can be taken and areas is identified due to which project gets failed.
Hence, accordingly its severity is evaluated and person responsible for it is assigned role or duty.
It would have been easy to mitigate affect of project failure and finish reward point software in
successfully and in specified time. So, these all can be found at earlier stage.
I think there were some elements which prevented me from identifying those risk. First is
that I did not have any knowledge about how to allocate resources. Also, I expected that this risk
may not occur as there are enough resources and they are allocated as per requirement. Along
with it, I was not having detailed info of how much resource is allocated to which tasks. Due to
it, I was not able to make identify it. Other than this, I was not having schedule of project
activities. Hence, I was confused in it and was not able to analyse that project may get delay. In
my view, labor was sufficient enough and all procedure was done in effective way. So, I did not
identified risk in it. Additionally, I did not know abut risk assessment and what type of risk can
occur in software development project. Therefore, it prevented me to find out risk.
the risk determined by me was not avoidable. This is because these are common risk
which occur in project and it highly impact on its completion. There is always a high chance that
project get delay due to certain issue like conflict, miscommunication, etc hence, it is necessary
to find out what type of risk can occur and how it will affect on project. Also, I think that lack of
fund is not avoidable as in project funds may be insufficient. So, for that measure needs to be
taken. The project failure risk is predictable as there may occur technical errors. Due to it, project
gets failed. So, all these risk were unavoidable.
