Report: Interface Usability Analysis for Solar Home Management System

This report provides an analysis of the user interface usability for a Solar Home Management System designed for middle-income homeowners, focusing on cost benefits and environmental advantages. It evaluates two interface design concepts, highlighting the complexities of the existing interface and proposing improvements. The first design concept emphasizes a single-page layout with three panels (Solar, Battery, and Grid) accessible after user registration, featuring clear data presentation and easy navigation. The second design, however, is criticized for excessive hyperlinks and potential user confusion. The report concludes that the first design offers superior usability due to its clarity, security, and efficient accessibility, enhanced by the use of professional colors and the Pencil tool for design. The aim is to optimize solar energy usage and reduce electricity costs through an efficient and user-friendly interface.
