AI Summary
This report presents a business case for a new venture focused on manufacturing vehicles powered by electricity harnessed from solar energy. The report begins by highlighting the transport industry's role in global economic development and its environmental impact due to reliance on fossil fuels. It identifies the problems associated with petrol and diesel vehicles, including pollution, fuel inefficiency, and sludge production. The proposed solution involves vehicles directly powered by solar energy captured through technology on the vehicle's roof. The business model is designed to generate substantial revenue, and the report outlines the company's competitive advantages and unique selling propositions, such as simultaneous energy capture and conversion, along with the ability to harness energy while the vehicle is in motion. The report is written by a student as part of the MGT607 Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship course, addressing the need for sustainable solutions in the transport sector and aligning with the assessment brief's requirements to critically evaluate the user perspective, unique value proposition, business model viability, and reflect on key success elements.

The new business venture of manufacturing cars which would be driven by electricity
harnessed from solar energy would usher the transport industry with higher levels of
sustainability. It can be pointed out from the first namely, Industry Background section that the
transport industry facilitates movement of goods and manpower from one place to another. The
transport industry supports global economic development. However, the large number of long
haul vehicles running on petrol result in environmental pollution. Thus transportation industry in
order to gain higher levels of sustainability, should adopt usage of more environmental friendly
sources of energy like solar energy.
The second section namely, Problem and solution points out to that the use of petrol and
diesel is the root cause of three problems. The first problem which consumption of petrol driven
vehicles result in environmental pollution, the second problem is that present engines do not
consume the entire fuel while the third problems is that petrol and diesel leave sludge. The new
product namely, vehicles running on electricity harnessed from solar energy directly captured by
the technology set up on the roof of the vehicles.
As far as the business model of the company is concerned, it can be pointed out that it
would be aligned to the business requirements. The business model would enable the company to
generate high amount of revenue.
As far as the competitor analysis and unique value proposition are concerned, it can
be pointed out that the firm manufacturing vehicles running on electricity sourced from solar
energy would have several advantages which would enable it to compete with its competitors.
They unique selling propositions of the vehicles marketed by the firm would be simultaneous
capturing of solar energy and conversion of the same into electrical energy and the capacity of
the vehicles to harness energy even on the move.
