Introduction

audio transcription constitutes two different people speaking about an event or something
essential. Therefore, in our aspect, this task will primarily focus on general discourse where
different turn-taking will be considered, such that the collection of thoughts and feelings will
be preselected with the art of the essay. In simple terms, the task will discuss one of the
interviews, which was done by the ex-soldier based on his life experience and how he tends
to cope with his life during the service.

JB: So, what was going in your mind at the time when you joined the forces?
SO: Uhm, aha…not much, I wanted to enjoy the service based on the fact that I was having
the dream to become a soldier. So moving in the different missions was a bit enjoyable to me
in many ways during the service.
JB: Um …hm. Ok.

And of course having fun….uh.mm going through different training as well as flight were
some of the events, which I can hardly count to be part of my best moment during the service.

In other words, I had a dream to be the first black corps pilot. So I wanted to see if I could
achieve that goal.
However, my first service duty was to guard the cherry point north of Carolina. Life in the
north did not favor me, and I had to adapt in all ways possible.
JB: How did you get along with family members?

SO: Well… Uhm…aha... it was pretty tough to balance family and the job; I had many
challenges to convince Natalia (my wife) to be patient enough during my time in the service.
In other words, service duty is one of the most demanding careers in one’s life, but it is also
one of the best in terms of fitness [laugh].
