STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Gustave Flaubert had mentioned “Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you
occupy in the world.” Agreeing to the above-mentioned idea, I strive to implement the ideology
in my personal life.
The intrinsic desire to pursue Tourism Management results from my sheer love for exploring and
implementing the intricacies of management to the arenas of Tourism. My intrinsic interest for
tourism management has been accentuated by my undergraduate degree in business
administration. Having pursued my undergraduate degree from J.R.N University (Jan 2015- Aug
2017), I have acquired the relevant knowledge and expertise in relation to the innumerable
important concepts associated with modern business endeavors. My undergraduate degree had
also assisted in gauging the various nuances in relation to the functioning of tourism
management.
My love for learning tourism management originates from my experiences related to exploration
of places. During the period of my under graduation, I had reaped the benefits of attending a
business management course at EU Barcelona. Along with acquiring international exposure, I
had been able to explore and travel the areas of Barcelona. I had also reaped the benefit of
exploring innumerable areas in Spain where I had spent six months for a course. In the year
2018, I had been able to explore and travel the countries such as Germany, Netherlands, Sweden,
Latvia, Czech Republic, USA NYA Miami Vegas Buffalo Niagara. These explorations had
assisted in gauging the intricacies vested in each country. The explorations have also taught me
about the various tourism related activities.

Owing to my interest in various subjects and their interrelation, I have been able to explore and
learn about every subject related to my management course. Coupled by my educational
qualification and the sheer interest in learning innovative ideas, I believe that I can justify my
decision to pursue Tourism Management. Despite being an avid lover and devourer of books, I
had managed to carve time to test my potential and mettle at various jobs. My short-term
employment experiences have assisted in garnering the required experience and expertise in
relation to the real world experiences. These experiences have taught me the art of balancing the
two worlds of academics as well as the employment pursuits.
After enrolling myself in the undergraduate course, I had decided to enroll in an internship
program at Drisshtikon, which is a structural design company with interests vested in
architecture. At Drisshtikon, I had discharged the role of a Client Relationship Manager. While I
was positioned as a Client Relationship Manager, I had even interacted with the clients.
Additionally, I had worked as a Human Resource Manager at Kohinoor Printers. This was one of
the most challenging jobs because the organization faced the problem of employee attrition and
the lack of skilled workers. The experience at Kohinoor Printers had taught me the skill of
managing and erasing the challenging situations. My positive experiences at the workplace had
assisted in comprehending the various challenges that needs to be erased in the real world
business practices.
Having garnered the relevant experience and expertise, I had decided to explore the avenue of
launching my own company named ‘Ramana Ventures’. Though this period was fraught with
challenges, our company had been able to gain the public contracts of supplying water tanks. My
personal ventures had contributed in shaping and changing my personality and perception

towards the management endeavors. I had also been able to face and erase the various
challenges, which in turn, had helped in implementing the acquired knowledge.
I am well conversant with the idea that human beings need to develop the various faculties and
knowledge to enable the proper implantation of the relevant skills. I wish to accentuate the
limited gamut of my knowledge by enrolling myself in the course for tourism management. I
believe that enrolling in tourism management will assist in gauging about the macrocosmic
scenario related to the various implementation measures adopted by each country in relation to
tourism management. This will assist in understanding the various innovative measures that need
to be adopted for future sustenance of the industry. My goal of pursuing tourism management is
related to my idea of exploring new ventures in relation to the inherent skills and expertise. I plan
to pursue my goal of pursuing Tourism Management in UK. This will assist in developing my
skills in a city that will exude a vibrant welcoming nature. I look forward to enrolling in the
course for Tourism Management in UK. I also look forward to a positive reply from the
Admission Committee in relation to my credentials and experience.
