Assessment 1
Project Scope
The work and resources involved in developing the product or service are mainly those that
frame the project scope. The scope describes the project objectives and the aims that must be
achieved in order to produce a successful outcome. Each project manager should know how
to describe the range of the plan and some measures can be pursued.
The project scope includes the designation and documentation of a set of design objectives,
deliverables, duties, expenses and deadlines. The project scope documentation, referred to as
the project scope statements, reference terms or declaration of work, explains the project
boundaries, sets out the duties for each team member and establishes procedures for verifying
and approving the completed work.
Here the scope of this project can be defined by the objectives of this project. The water of
Sorento Quay is getting polluted due to which the people of Joondalup city are not able to get
clean or fresh water to use in their daily purposes like drinking and cooking. This water is
getting polluted. Now the aim of this project is to investigate the water of Sorento Quay by
performing the water testing operations on it. The report would be presented over this
investigation to the Joondalup city council and they will decide on the solutions that are
provided for this task. For this, a small testing environment with the required equipment like
chloride meter, pH meter, and volumetric apparatus should be implemented and after taking
samples from the water of Sorento Quay, these samples would be tested and solutions would
be provided to the council of Joondalup city.
