INTRODUCTION
Project management is the term which describes the appropriate path or ideas to complete
a single project or any single event. Mainly project management shows the actual cost of a
project or event to estimate the future cost to minimize the losses which may occur while
completion of a single project. The main motive of project management is to manage the
duration or it act as a very effective tool for calculating the overall cost or minimum duration for
every project (Rondinelli, 2013). In fact it shows the overall project management of charity
named as “SOS children's villages” work for protection of children's rights and interest as this
charity organization is an independent, non-governmental international development enterprise
focussed on fulfilling the needs and wants of the kids.
SOS children's villages
SOS children's villages is a charity organization which is not consider as a governmental

provide basic needs and wants to the children's of small-small towns and try to protect their
rights and interests by abolishing the child labour(Sarantis, 2011). Mainly their main motive is to
protect the children's from discriminations by providing food and shelter to them.
The Business case

basic needs which is required for an individual to live their life in average manner(Charalabidis,

Reasons
There is a plenty of reason behind this event for example to eradicate the child labour
from overall society and to improve the conditions of children's by providing them foods and
shelter on the daily bases by protecting their rights and interest ( Askounis, 2011).
Risk and constraints
While establishing of any organization or charity event they must have to face various
types of risk and constraints which comes in the path of achieving target.
Expected benefits
Due to the emergence of charity event most of the children feel safe as they get the food
to eat or place to live by fulfilling their needs. Basically the major benefit is the emergence of a
society free from child labour(Wang, 2010).
Project time management
Project time management mainly express the managing of appropriate time to complete
the various project taking place in the SOS children villages which means it describes the overall
description of duration of achieving their charity event target. Project time management consider
all the relevant facts and figures comes under time management for a cited project (Huang,
2010). In other words it ensure that how much time will be taken by an event to calculate the
exact duration of the cited charity project. Some of the essentials factors which comes under
project time management are :-
Work breakdown structure :- Work breakdown structure ensure the work in a
hierarchical manner which means work is divided on the basis of work. Basically
work breakdown defines the work which is required to manufacture the product.
As it is extremely important and valuable for project management .

Network diagram and critical path analysis :- Network diagram is a networking
representation of different activities due to which minimum time get calculated to
complete a single project. Basically critical path analysis is the selection of best
alternatives to complete a cited project in a minimum period of time with
minimum cost (Willcocks, 2013)
1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 6 → 7 → 8 → 9
These above are the network analysis of different activities or all preceding activities are
shows with the use of network analysis.
Gantt chart :- Gantt chart is a kind of bar chart which is used to to schedule the
start and finish dates of a project. Mainly Gantt chart is made in series to represent
the work of earliest start and latest finish of a particular project.
Risk and communication management strategies:- Risk and communication
management strategies are mainly made to know the available risk of a project
and try to hedge that risk by communicating and making strategies for charity
event(Holzmüller-Laue, 2011).

Stakeholder analysis :- It consider all the stakeholder invested in the project or
part of completing the overall cited project.
Review of lessons learnt from conducting the project
While conducting the project various thing are learned for example how to handle a
complicated project or it shows the method of calculating minimum time period with minimum
cost for completion of project . I have learned various ways of completing an event in a
appropriate manner by analysing overall factors and data available while making of a project.
Various things are there in a project learned from this project are :-
Most of the lessons are so much valuable because of their positivity and extra
details about project or any topic. In fact some of the valuable lessons shows the
proper understanding of a charity event or available task (Göde, 2011).
Network analysis is the very effective and useful path to understand the exact
duration of completing the project in minimum period of time with minimum
cost. In fact network analysis is the topic or technique which may design the
appropriate path or help in identifying the correct route to complete an event or
project(Ginter, 2012).
While conducting the project I go through from all kind of data and information
which act as useful while decision making or supportive mechanism.
Various challenges occurred while performing the task or activities due to which I
have learned how to face upcoming challenges or errors while conducting of a
project.
Mainly due to the working with this cited event it helpful to understand the
various situation or accurate estimation of future(Murray, 2012).
The another effective and useful term is a work breakdown structure because with
the help of breakdown structure the overall structure of the organization may
define in a appropriate manner to understand the all level of the work. Mainly
work breakdown structure describe the exact division of work from high level to
lower level which means work or task is distributed in between higher authority to
lower level. In other words it means distribution of works between all the
members of project team according to their specialised(Duncan, 2012)

Project must completed by considering all the relevant data and information
before taking any steps.
Proper research team is required while compiling of any task or activities which
means with the help of research there is no chance of absence of any relevant and
important data or information which may act as very useful for the project.
It requires an expertise advice or proper planning before execution of any activity.
To get best results or positive outcomes it is very indispensable to follow all the
steps properly with full planning process to avoid mistakes and errors which may
occur while working on project(King, 2012).
Try to improve the quality of a project by using appropriate methods or
techniques to get best or positive results.
The main focus of this project or charity event is to eradicate the issues which
may occur due to the child labour or exploitation of children's due to the
avoidance of interests of poor people.
It must be recommended that follow the proper planning process before execution
of any task or activities(Swayne, 2012).
Select appropriate or effective path to complete the project or cited event
choose the best alternatives for the bright future of the children's suffering from
these problems.
Review of lesson learnt from work in groups
While working in a group I have learned many things for example – how to work in a
group with a peaceful manner by cooperating with each other or how to handle all the things
with a team. In fact work in groups is not an easy task because conflicts may emerge due to
availability of many members in the groups as it requires a calm nature and understanding.
Mainly while working in a group its not easy to handle all the things effectively so it is necessary
to consult with all the members or leader of the group to solve the problems(Söderlund, 2010)
Basically while working with team is a very responsible task because it requires a lot of
patience to face all the negativity or positivity of the team and its very important to know how to
deal with different-different kind of a person. In other words while working with a group I have
learned the way of facing different kind of challenges which may occur while working together.

In fact due to the groups an individual know about various opinions by communicating or
sharing their ideas with other members in a groups(Rahman, and et. al., 2012)
Personal reflection on individual learning
With the completion of this one project I have contributed many other things for example
acquiring of relevant knowledge or polished in a skills of an individual. Basically due to this
project lots of experiences may contributed with the help of existing project.
In completion of this above project or event I have used all the available skills which is
available or understood by me which means this cited event requires overall knowledge
whatever is learned from outer world. Mainly exact news and appropriate knowledge or quality
must for the completion of project(Osipova, 2011).
I have gain lots of skills and abilities from this event or project due to the broad concept
of this project which means due to this project I come to know all the relevant techniques and
methods of solving problem or to face the upcoming challenges. Basically this project clarify all
the important points which is sometime harmful personally(Eriksson, 2011). With the help of
these skills I can easily know how to handle all the situation take place in completion of single
project.
CONCLUSION
This report consist of all the relevant factors whatever is required in the completion of
single project as this project is based on SOS children's villagers and their main motive is to
protect all the children's from exploitation. The main focus of this report is to arrange all the
important information essentials like it covers all the techniques of completing project in a
minimum time period with a minimum cost for example by using network analysis it is network
representation of all the activities. Second is the critical path analysis by which actual time is
calculated with exact cost of project. In additional it also shows the personal learning in context
with this charity event and describes all the skills or knowledge by which an individual can face
all the challenges or ready to face upcoming errors in any other project. Mainly by completing of
this project an individual can easily conduct other project also.
