COMP247 - Data Communications: Soylent Co. Network Analysis and Design

to improve network performance [3].
 Efficient and unique network access is to be ensured for better
performance and meeting security needs.
 Security measures need to be put in place to prevent cyber attacks like
malware, hackers, denial of service and vulnerability exploits.

Conclusions
 This presentation successfully analyses the current network of Soylent
and identifies the improvements to be made.
 The security measures to added to the network are also discussed
before the improved network design is suggested.
 The IP addressing required for implementing VLANs within the network
then get discussed.
