The industry make up image that was presented above is designed by the Jamie Peschke
who is a very well-known and talented makeup artist who had designed many injuries and other
form of make up for T.V. and movies. It has been seen and observed that the make up designed
by Jamie Peschke is some how similar to the real image and industry caused by a car accident.
The similarity of both the images comprises of the fact that lots of scar and blood is present on
face of both which is must to reflect the injury caused in a car industry. The difference that has
been used in creating the above injury of an accident comprise of the fact that in real image, the
face is get swollen due to accident that is caused by the injury but in the make-up image no such
Swelling is being presented which is creating a difference in a real and make up image of
injury. Further, it has been analysed that the makeup created accident make by Cleanse the skin
where the cut will appear and Trace the wound with black or brown eyeliner. Apart from that
the make up industry Add blood using bright red lipstick or fake blood and Apply a layer of

clear, shiny lip gloss to make the bleeding appear fresh. After that the make up industry and
artists used to apply a little blush around the wound to make it appear sore and as real a natural
injury and wound. Thus, an analysis and evaluation can be made out that use of blood and scare
reflects the similarity between the real image and created make up image but the swelling is the
difference that is seen between a natural injury and created make up industry.

The Special effects makeup which is commonly known as SFX makeup is mainly associated
and related with the use of cosmetics and prosthetics to create some special effects for camera,
film, or live-action theatre. These special effect makeup is mainly all about making efficient use
of the bruises or fake blood from a fistfight or other substances used to create some injuries and
special makeup effect. The most commonly used substances which are utilised by Jamie
Peschke to create above presented injury are discussed and evaluated as below:
 Liquid Latex
Use of Liquid Latex is mainly used by Jamie Peschke to create and make a realistic cuts, burns
and lacerations as this substance is having an ability to slightly flex to increase comfort when
applied. Further, it is one of the most suitable substance that can be applied to create special
effect injury that can also be applied as an adhesive for prosthetics to create bald caps and also
utilised to create and lead pre-made scars that looks much more real and effective.
 Blood
The another substance which forms the most vital and important part in creating an injury is
blood to make an injury more real and intense. Cab blood, spray, blood gels, blood paste, and
stage blood, etc are some of the common form of blood that are used and applied by Jamie

Beside this, use of Scar Wax, 3rd Degree, Modeling Wax, Simulated bone wax, and 3-D gels

An evaluation between the real snake bite and injury created by special effect can be made
as similarity between two comprise of reflection of two blood dots which is similar in both
the case where as difference comprises of the fact in real image the gap between two strain
is less where as in make up image the gap between these two blood holes is larger as
compare than natural one. Apart from this, it has been also observed that the colour of blood
in make industry image is darker as compared with natural snake bite along with having
difference in the shape of the wound.

The substance which are used by Bobbie Merica for creation of snake bite comprises of
following main substances;
Gypsum Cement in Prosthetics- It mainly Comprised of gypsum, that is mainly a cement or
is a type of plaster that mainly contains a high value of calcium sulphate dehydrates. Use of
gypsum cement is made for is often used in flooring, ceilings, drywall and in creating

sculptures due to its strength, durability and its ability to retain a polished shine. Thus, use of
Gympusm is harder than Plaster of Paris when dry, this substance is too heavy to form an
appliance itself and thus, it is never used directly on the skin. Rather it is used to form a hard
shell for your mold inside which prosthetics can be shaped. The most popular type in the
film industry is Ultracal 30 that is used by Bobbie Merica to create current injury. Beside
this, the Ultracal, a commercially named type of gypsum cement which is used in prosthetics
to make strong, hard and precise molds. These molds are suitable for foam latex to be
applied to.
Foam Latex- it is also an extensively used material to create special effect make up in the
1930s for the Wizard of Oz, foam latex is soft, lightweight and is an excellent material for
facial prosthetics. It has since been used extensively in television and stage productions. It is
one of the key components that are used as foaming agents, latex bases, gelling agents and
curing agents. Additives can also be added as required for the specific application.Foam
latex has been used vastly in stop motion animation to form the muscles and skin of puppets.
It was used in Celebrity Deathmatch to produce the characters which, appeared to be made
of clay, but were in fact made from foam latex over wire armatures. Thus, it is also utilised
by Bobbie Merica to give the injury a real look.
