INTRODUCTION
Education is the basic necessity of an individual's life to reach the desired levels and help
in uplifting the society by removing the social stigmas. A teacher's contribution and
responsibilities are equally important. Specialist teachers are the ones who have technical
expertise in a specific subject or field. Their role is not only giving education but also looking
after the well being in terms of both mentally and psychologically (Schussler and Murrell, 2016).
The areas of concerns include about imparting education, giving advising or counselling,
librarianship and more. This assignment is based on understanding English as a subject in which
the students are given a platform for improvement. It will reflect upon establishing strategic
planning to bring positive changes in reading and composition through using critical thinking.
Along with this, this will include about aims and purposes of education, training, philosophical
issues, structures etc. to gain insights about the importance of English in a student's and teacher's
life as well.
TASK 1
1.1 Aims of education and training in English
English is mostly used in schools as the first language and is considered as the foundation
subject for other subjects as well. The aims of educating English language are to educate students
about the basics of grammar and linguistic components to make it look more approachable
(Darling-Hammond, 2016). It also highlights the needs to make the writing part more interesting
by giving the students knowledge about creating content and understanding the artistic
expressions through poetry, story telling etc.
It has also been observed that few students are uncomfortable in learning new language
due to the cultural barriers and diverse background. They find it difficult in learning the basic
such as sentence framing, use of parts of speech such as noun, pronoun etc. Thus, it is important
to give teachers' training in accordance to the needs and requirements of the students. Herein the
aim is to conduct training for promoting collaboration and support to foster inclusivity in
educating English.
1.2 Philosophical issues relating to education and training in English
According to Clark (2006) there are issues in context to philosophical aspects while
conducting English Classes that has negative impact on the environment. Such issues act as
obstacles in giving education to the students to interact and understand the concepts and theories.

For instance, the science subject might be interesting but it will only help the students when the
usage of English is appropriate in giving answers and making them understand the laws,
principles and theories properly. It involves implementing of the policies and procedures to align
them with the other subjects to address the inquiries of the students and teachers as well.
Furthermore, the existing issues involving unethical practices executed by teachers who did not
perform their responsibilities properly and lack of moral values while taking classes. Here the
need is to fit the radical educational reforms in today's scenarios to make the students more
competent.

This is the most important element required for teaching English under the professional
approach. Herein the purpose is to establish a robust and structured framework to promote
learning and make the teachers understand the guidelines mentioned under GCSE or A levels
certificate programs. The aims highlight the need to hire the right teachers to give proper and
authentic knowledge to the students (Farrell, 2015). Moreover, the focus is on establishing the
inclusiveness and promote collaboration among the teachers to understand the basic and
outlining the teaching guidelines. This would prove beneficial in creating qualified and
structured educational systems to gain proper and systematic feedbacks and reviews that would
later help in imparting knowledge.
2.2 Aims and structure of learning programmes in English
A learning program is that type of interventions where the students are given a more
wholesome platform to utilise several approaches, tools and techniques to promote an integrated
system. The aim of the proposed learning programme is to make the teachings of English
grammar easy and convenient for the students. This program is focusing on combining the
traditional methods with the digital tools to promote the learning aspect. Moreover, the benefits
include better communication between the teacher and learner with encouraging cooperation,
trust and support (Doel, Shardlow and Sawdon, 2017). It would also help in clearing doubts or
queries and would also incorporate the practical implementation of the basics of grammar. This
would pave the platform of better accessibility and comfortability.
In regard to this, the programme has been outlined to divide the students into smaller
groups of four members each. Here, the objective is to make them understand the basics and the

methods to use it in daily life effectively. This program would be conducted for 2 hours on
continuous basis to avoid any confusions or dilemmas.

I have always tried to follow a unique strategy to maintain the quality aspects while
taking my classes. Additionally, I also put my best efforts in planning and preparing the outline
of the proposed program. This is done through clear communication channels and assisted me to
make contacts with other faculty members to promote team work and started the practice
sessions to improvise the vocabulary and grammar basics knowledge among the students.

I want to prepare an inclusive learning program in English so that I can fulfil all my aims
and objectives which would help the students to learn English in a better way. I want to use both
traditional teaching method as well as digital tool which will help in promoting English learning
among students. Digital tools will help the students to understand and learn the subject in a better
way. They will also learn So for this I need support, collaboration and trust of school as well as
students, so that I can maintain as well as manage learning program objectives. This will help the
students to improve their grammar, sentence formation. In fact it will also help the students to
clear their doubts and if the have any query related to the subject then they can easy approach
and clarify their doubts and questions in a quite easy and efficient manner. Digital tools will also
help them to develop interest in English language. But in order to fulfil this aim I need complete
support of School authorities and cooperation of students.

specialist area will help in reducing all kinds of curriculum issues. It will also help in
encouraging use of emerging technologies which will help the students to learn as well as cleat
their doubts in a better way. This approach will also help in improving and building team work
within students which will help them to build empathy, unity and team work within them (Kuh,

2016). It will also help in making students understand that unity is important but independence
and humanity is much more important to move further and build a carrier. It will also help the
students in realizing that English is not just a language but it works as a medium or a bridge
which helps in understanding and connecting with cultural diverse people.

In teaching there are many specialist areas related to different subjects. The practice area
of teacher vary according to their specialisation. As an English teacher it is necessary to teach
students about how to write and frame proper English sentence. Besides this, improvement
should be made so that student gain knowledge. However, there are many ways or methods of
developing practice (Kennedy, 2016). It depends on individual that how he or she develop
practice. By communicating with other teachers, knowledge can be gained. This enables in
getting insight about how practice can be improved. Moreover, by coordinating with colleagues
ways can be identified that how practice can be enhanced.
By coordinating with others it provides suggestions to improve English language. It was
useful in changing procedure and method of teaching. By getting involved with other it becomes
easy to make changes in learning practice. In this liaise can be done with trainers and other
specialist areas teachers. It will be easy to make changes in practice areas in proper way. Apart
from it, teachers of other universities can be communicated as well. By coordinating it is easy to
improve teaching.
5.2 Review impact of liaison with other teachers and trainee within own practice area
By coordinating with others it gives an insight about what are the ways of improving
practice. Also, it supports in learning techniques and methods through which practice is
improved. It is also useful in implementing on those technique and learning how to use
technology in teaching. There is a positive impact on teaching by laision. It is because it helps in
forming policy or procedure in teaching (Muijs and Reynolds, 2017). The other teachers give
new ideas that what should be done in teaching, how resources can be used to improve teaching
practice. In addition trainers can also involve in discussion that what areas has to be improved.
The teacher can train and learn ways about how to teach. Also, performance can be reviewed by

communicating with others. So, in this way quality of teaching can be maintained. It completely
changes the way of teaching and use various resources.

6.1 Effectiveness of own knowledge and skills in English
I have been the best English teacher in my school and I have always tried to apply my
technical skills and knowledge to give my students a more practical approach. I also combined
the traditional methodologies and the digital tools to give a more refined ways of teaching. This
made my students more attracted and also pushed them to use the tools and attended the practice
sessions. Moreover, the focus has always been on managing the qualitative analysis in giving
technical expertise so that the student are able to use it throughout their career (Doel and
Shardlow, 2017). Moreover, it would be helpful in establishing my professional links with other
colleagues who takes other subjects. It has also given me insights to give my best efforts in
fulfilling the teaching aim.
6.2 Identify own strengths and areas for improvement in relation to practice in English
As an English teacher there are many strengths of mine which has helped me to become a
great professor. The main strength of my is I am easily able to grasp things. I am highly efficient
in reading English. I able highly efficient in teaching English language to students. I can easily
understand English and communicate with people.
But on contrary my weakness is I am not able to use high vocabulary or words in
writing. Due to this I my performance get hindered. Also, I am not able to read long words or
complex words. Moreover, I am not having enough knowledge of using punctuation. So, I do not
know where to use punctuation in sentences. Due to this I am weak in writing English. Thus, I
need to improve my writing part so that I can become a great professor and tutor.
6.3 Identify opportunities to improve and update own knowledge and skills in a specialist
I have analysed my skills set in English and realised that I must give back to mu students
so that they can help themselves in the near future. This is possible only when I will work in an
inclusive environment and understood that people must work in collaboration to reach their
goals. Therefore, I have decided to initiate the programs to gain the attention of my students
effectively. This is possible by taking honest feedbacks from my students and few colleagues.
Their reviews would help me in making solid changes to attract the students in positive

viewpoints. Henceforth, I believe that planning would be useful and give the individuals an
overview about the progression of the programme or initiatives.
CONCLUSION
From the above assignment it has been summarized that education is one of the most
important and basic necessity of an individual's life as it helps an individual to develop their own
personality, thinking, mentality, help them to understand their roles and responsibilities in a
better way. It has been observed that in education role of a specialist subject teacher is extremely
important as they help the students to gain proper understanding of the subject not just
subjectively but also helps them to apply that knowledge within their practical lives as well.
From the above assignment it has also been observed that English is an extremely important
subject as well as a language that should be taught in schools as the first language as it helps
people in connecting with each other. It has been analysed that English specialist teacher helps
the students to improve their English not only as a subject but as their first language as well.
