Dynamic capabilities
In dynamic capabilities there are three theories which are stated below:
Technology competence: The technology used by the company is traditional and outdated
which gives the little bit disadvantage to the company. The company required the updated
technology of cleaning services.
Coordination of the employees: The coordination among the employees in the company is
good which helps in creating the dynamic capabilities. This coordination among the employees
helps in attaining the good performance in the market.
Marketing competence: In the market competition is high but due to the lower cost offered by
the company they get the advantage of the sustaining in the market.
Challenges faced in the internal and external environment
The major challenge faced in the internal environment of the company is organizational culture
and the structure. As there were more than the 50 employees in the company but their
management was not proper and it creates the issue in managing and handling the internal
processes. The company is not properly divided into the team so they work as a whole which
creates the issue in the organizational structure and due to this, the functioning of the company
gets affected. The technology so the major issue as with the time there are many updated
machines and techniques which can be used for the cleaning process so it becomes difficult for
the company to update the technology at every time.
The major challenges faced by the Spic and Span are also related to the external environment as
they have to face many changes due to the political environment. The government brought new
laws and policies which the company has to follow so its impact on the ongoing process of the
company. The major issues I also related to the labor, green cleaning trends and with the
legislation and compliance (Chen, et al., 2015). The climate is changing so the Spic and Span
also face the issue of providing the cleaning services and it impacts the performance of the
company. The profit margin of the company gets declined due to the tourist as they are the ones
taking the services from the company. If the number of tourists is declining in the company then
it will affect the performance of the company.
