Answer 1
The word salvation can be termed as deliverance or redemption which relates to
saving of human beings from death and separation from the Yahweh by Christ’s death and
resurrection1. According to James he specified in the scriptures that Faith is never alone but it
shows itself to be alive with the good deeds which can express a believer to thank Yahweh
for the gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. The saving knowledge of Christ led from taking over
the burden of sins till death and forgiveness. Hence it is important that the journey of Christ
from birth, death, burial and resurrection saved us from the penalty of sins which is the death
by gifting his life.
Answer 2
From my journey of life from the past experience till the present days it is the pastoral
brother and the priest of our parish who has assisted me to lift my spiritual life. With the
assistance of two people I could not only read the Bible but also could understand the
theology behind it. The priest has taught me about different liturgical seasons in the western
Christianity which comprise of the Christmas season, ordinary time, Lent, Easter and advent
season2. I realized the importance of Fasting and Praying and had made it a commitment of

readings from the Gospel. It is our own responsibility to contribute the first hour to the Lord
and spend it in reading the scriptures, praising and thinking Him for the good works in our
personal life and also pray with the group members from the petitions collected from various
places3. The major reason which had made my faith grow stronger was during the time of
chain fast and prayer time within our community members.
Answer 4
The gift which I feel I have received is the gift of vision and gift of tongues. The gift
of vision can be stated as the hearing ear and seeing in the eyes while praying for a particular
intention or for a person4. I am still developing my spiritual gift of vision and I hope one day
I am blessed to continue with the same gift.
Answer 5
The ways I want to grow in Christ is in three main areas which are in serving others,
his grace and holiness. Serving others is one of the acts which show how humble one is. We
can scarifies something for the happiness of others who cannot afford to have. This shows the
true humility in an individual. We should treat our body as the Temple of God and keep it
holy by not getting addicted to any kinds of drugs or unlawful acts.
