Introduction
Implementation plan of a project is developed in order to prepare a plan for integration of
a system with an existing system in the organisation. Implementing a plan for a project can be
referred as detailed description of action which are to be taken in order to complete a project.
Project management plan also demonstrates how an activity is to be implemented in a particular
project in order to achieve the project objectives. Project implementation plan helps in describing
the purpose of the plan and also helps in identification of the software, systems, resources and
tasks which are to be implemented for a project (Hadzaman, Takim and Nawawi, 2015). Having
a well project management plan in place it can help project managers to carry out or execute or
model or standards or policies of doing something in an effective manner. As project
implementation requires a plan so, it is followed by the preliminary thinking in advance for
doing something or what will happen in the future.
P1: Why create an implementation plan?
Implementation planning is the process that helps to determine about the project success.
Because with the implementation process, the project cannot meet the strategic goals. Every
project has the strategic goal and they are bound to meet that target. To execute this process,
implementation is necessary because it enhances the efficiency of the project. In the
implementation process, all the activities of the project are clearly executed and makes the
project as feasible. With the help of this process, the strategic goals are converted into the
strategic actions that helps to reach to the target point.
It is really important for a project manager to create a project implementation plan as it
will serve for various purposes like it can provide a stakeholders a confidence of what will be
accomplished and how it will be accomplished in a project (Rogoff and Screve, 2019). It will
also provide the lists of tasks, process and activities which are involved for producing the
deliverables. Project implementation plan is created due because of the following reasons:
Planning the activities which are to be implemented in order to ensure the success of the
project delivery as well as stakeholders satisfaction.
It will also help in defining the scope of project with proper schedules during the various
tasks of the project in such a way in order to achieve the better project time management.

help in keeping the procurement documentation on track.
Creating a project management plan will provide the scope for managing on changes as
per the change management plan.
P2: How did you implement your project plan?
There are six steps by which the project plan is implemented.
Identification of the stakeholders: Stakeholders are really important for any project and they
are directly or indirectly affected by the results of the project plan. This may includes the clients,
customers as well end use who can be the stakeholder of the project. It is vital to identify the
stakeholders and identify their interests while developing a project plan.
Establishment and prioritize the project goals: After listing the stakeholder needs then their
needs is to be prioritized and specific project goals is to set. Project manager have to outline the
objectives of the project or the benefits which is to be achieved from the project.
Explanation of the key deliverables of the project: In this step project manager has to identify
the key deliverables as well as project planning steps which are required for meeting the project
goals (Chofreh and et.al., 2016). In this step due dates are estimated for each of the deliverables
within a project plan.
Generation of the project schedule: Once project deliverables are set then project schedules are
has to be defined. Each series of tasks which is to be completed, total amount of time is
determined and who will perform a particular task.
Identification of the issues and completion of the risk assessment: In this step various issues
of the project are identified in order to make a project a risk free project. Also in this step proper
risk assessment is done in order to minimise the risks.
Presentation of the project plan to the stakeholders: In the final step of project plan, entire
plan has to be addresses to stakeholders and explaining the plan to stakeholders and offering a
solution to any conflict within the plan in order to meet their expectations.
Conclusion

of the new system with the old system. It can also be concluded that for any project creating an
implementation plan is really important in order to achieve the project objectives. Also, Project

By developing a trust with the stakeholder and their co-operation can help in gaining the
competitive advantage in this competitive world.
Stakeholders commitment can also help in reducing the risks and also helps in

minimising the risks of the project (Oliveira and Hersperger, 2018). If many
stakeholders are involved in the project more factors will be discussed over the initial
requirements, needs of the project and about the constraints. Also, stakeholder may bring
various issue in-front of the manager which can be addressed at the initial stage of the
protect.
By involving the stakeholders in the project, granting the project acceptance from the
stakeholders can result in the success of the project from the start to end of the object.
Also, having their commitment can be an contributory factor for the success of the
project after the implementation project plan.

Prioritize the stakeholders that means create a list of people who are effected in the
organization.
Understand the key stakeholders that helps to enhance the organizational strategy.
Who are the people which are directly and indirectly affected by the project either
positively or negatively.
Also, project manager has to identify the people who have got the power to make the
project success or failure (Liu and Tang, 2016).
To identify the people who are responsible for taking decisions related to money.
Who are the users of the end products of the project.
Who will be the suppliers.
Who are the people which influence the stakeholders

Also, who has got the specialists skills which are required for the completion of the
project.
P3: How do you gain their commitment and support?
With the help of few processes, the commitment of the stakeholders are gained.
Generate the solid commitments which can measure as well as achieve: By developing a
solid commitment with stakeholder can help in making the project implementation plan a
success (Chofreh, Goni and Klemeš, 2018). This can be done by involving number of
stakeholder in a project and developing a plan which has the capability of meeting the
needs of stakeholders in general.
Make the continuous communication to the affected team of the project: This is the best
way of gaining the commitment from the stakeholder by continuously communicating
with them which can help the project to formulate the strategies towards the success of
the project in the long run.
Keep tracking the communication in the daily basis: By keeping a track on the
communication with stakeholder can help in addressing the issues or making the changes
in the project as per the needs of stakeholders and making the proper adjustment in the
project plan.
Keep the records that re related to the project milestone bas well as impactful events: By
keeping the records of the project milestones and record of the events can help in gaining
the commitment from the stakeholders (Naseer and et.al., 2017). With the help of
milestones and events stakeholders will able to understand what a project wants achieve
