is considered the most beneficial point in sports development because health is something where
a person takes it on priority. Developing a good health like it cures heart disease, lungs problems
and many internal problems as well. Therefore, sports are considered as essential in every part of
humans life.
Approaches to Sports Development
Encouraging sports day with festivals, clubs and events
This approach can be used in schools and colleges for the students to encourage them to
participate more and more in sports activities. Like organizing sports day with different fun
games, celebrating sports festivals to gain more interest and spending on various sports clubs and
events so that students participate in competitions and enjoy the same with full enthusiasm
(Cryan and Martinek, 2017).
Promoting sports industry
This approach is for the sport development in a country by the government that they must
encourage industries who supports sports in any form like selling sports products, conducting
any event and occasional club formation. This can be done by either public sectors to promote
sports or by encouraging private sectors to build up such activities for the people of the country.
Encouraging education programmes based on sports
This approach is similar to the approach of schools and colleges. Motivating educational
institutions helps the people of country to take more interest in sports because now a days youth
power is becoming more in trend. So sports development starting from youth is much more
benefit to grow and develop sports to other aged citizens also.
Increment of funds for sports industry
This approach is beneficial for the firms who deals with sports products or who wants to
encourage sports activities in a country. Government must look into it to increase the funds of
not only the government sector firms but also the private sectors so that development can be
possible all over the sectors which are present in a country (Mackintosh and Dempsey, 2017).
Promoting research and development in sports sector
This approach focuses on creativity and innovation in the field of sports. Until and unless
the innovation and updated sports activities are not introduces, people cannot take interest in the
sports by participate in a same thing again and again. Therefore, it is important to initiate

something new for the country so that citizens could happily indulge in sports development
activities.
Investment in sports infrastructure
This approach aims at the physical look and infrastructure of the sports area so that
people could participate comfortably without any uneasiness in playing. Competition must be
secure for them by having good and strong infrastructure with well-furnished so that it can be a
fun playing there (Misener and Misener, 2017).
Providing awareness to the country’s people about benefits of sports
This approach is very essential for the development of sports because until the creation of
awareness is not done by the government then it is very much difficult for them to encourage
citizens of country to participate as much as they can. Awareness of benefits of sports, promoting
sports events and clubs makes people more interested in involving in sports activities.
