3SPORT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
The expenses those experienced in carrying out this study includes costs related with
developing questionnaires and expenses for travelling places in carrying out survey with the
target responses (Fusch & Ness 2015). Preparation of questionnaires will incur cost of $100 ad
travelling expenses will be $150. Moreover, using of statistical software for analyzing the
collected data will incur cost of around $120 along with that internet chares for distribution of
survey questionnaire is anticipated to be $80.
Validity and Reliability
Reliability and validity of the collected secondary data for this study will be made sure by
means of employing journals and websites those have currently updated their information as well
as data on the aspects of sports management program (Bryman & Bell 2015). In addition, the
reliability of the employed secondary sources will also be measured by means of making sure
that the generated data will be evaluated effectively in order to attain effective study findings.
Moreover, in analyzing the data gathered from the survey, reliability and validity test will also be
carried out through conducting Pearson correlation test. This test will make certain that the
survey data which is analyzed is greatly significant in attaining effective research findings. This
test will also be employed for anticipating the theoretical reliability coefficient among the
parallel tests (Creswell & Creswell 2017).
Part 2: Data Collection Instrument
The target respondents for the survey will be the students those apply for the fall 2018
semester. This is also considered as the anticipation of numbers which is deemed to be fall 2018
based on previous three years applications (Fusch & Ness 2015). In selecting the target student
for the survey it is also considered that around 100 students apply among which 70 are accepted

and among them 30 enroll them. Survey data collection instrument will be employed in this
study for the reason that it can facilitate in collecting relevant data from the target respondents
through the online questionnaire distribution medium. The questionnaire that will be distributed
to the selected students undergoing the sports management program will include close and open
ended questions. Questionnaire survey instrument that will be used in this study will encompass
questions attaining data regarding the demographic profile, attributes those facilitate in taking the
sports management program and the ways in which the sports management program offers
benefit to the students (Sekaran & Bougie 2016). This data collection instrument will be used in
this study for the reason that it acts as the best technique in obtaining effective viewpoints from
target respondents on their attributes on their selection of sports management program. This data
collection instrument is selected for the reason that in this technique the selected survey
respondents are asked to respondents to respond to all answers. Responses from the students are
collected and segmented into smaller responses list which can facilitate in better statistical
analysis of results (Fusch & Ness 2015).
