This project is a case study focusing on the contribution of sports analytics in football, specifically examining Queens Park Rangers F.C. The study aims to evaluate the impact of sports analytics, highlighting how analytical tools forecast results and aid in preventing potential issues. The research explores the significance of analytics in sports, especially in improving team performance and player development. The methodology involves a positivism philosophy with an explanatory research design, utilizing a deductive approach and primary data collection methods. Data collection includes interviews with the team's manager using open-ended questions and surveys with fans using a Likert scale. The study ensures ethical considerations, including adherence to the Data Protection Act 1998, to maintain data confidentiality. The project emphasizes the growing demand for analytics in sports and its role in reducing harmful effects, providing valuable insights for sports organizations.
