The current assignment will explain a detailed personal analysis for highlighting the
major skills and a career action plan which will address the specific career related activities and
personal development. The identified opportunity is the job of Sports marketing manager in an
reputed organization as it has a good future in the industry. The major skills that are required in
this job role are good communication skills, team work, strong self belief, self-confidence etc. in
order to successfully manage the different aspects that are required in the job role. This job role
is a new and attractive in the field and many candidates are applying for it in order to gain
maximum benefit. The sports industry has a lot of opportunities for the individuals in order to
grow and achieve success.

Personal Analysis
Effective communication skills are crucial for effectively performing the crucial tasks
that are crucial in the sports industry. I have a good knowledge of interacting with people and
connecting with them appropriately which is beneficial for me to perform will in my job. I have
good team working and resource management skills which are crucial for me to grow in the
industry (Bozionelos, Lin and Lee, 2020). I am good at coordinating with the members in a team
effectively and improving my overall efforts towards the job role. There are certain areas that I
lack such as the effective management of time which needs to be corrected by me for
experiencing better results from me. I need to improve these skills in order to get better
advantage in the industry and achieve productivity ion my work. With the help of a SWOT
analysis, I will be able to explain different factors that have a influence over my performance and
are crucial for my overall development. The factors of the SWOT analysis are as follows:
Strengths
 I have effective team working skills and I like to work with a group of people in orsder to
achieve efficiency in my work.
 I am able to communicate appropriately with people which is a major strengths for
properly coordinating and completing the tasks properly.
 I am confident towards by abilities which is helpful in providing competitive advantage
and improve my growth.
Weaknesses
 I find difficulty to manage my time effectively which sometimes has a negative impacty
on my overall productivity.
 I am sometimes unable to achieve accuracy in my tasks which has a negative impact on
my overall success and reduces my growth opportunities.
 I am weak at public speaking which has a major disadvantage when I have to give a
speech or address people in public.
Opportunities

 My effective team working skills are helpful in getting better growth opportunities and
having a better image among the people.

and provide me with stability.
 My communication skills have been useful to provide me with a better approach towards

 There is a threat of increasing competition in the industry which can have a negative

 There is an availability of a lot of companies which are not up to the mark and does not

These factors are crucial to evaluate in order top prepare effective strategies which may be useful
in making appropriate changes in my current approach towards these skills. It is important for me
to evaluate the negative impact these weaknesses and threats in order to improve my ability to
develop the opportunities in my favor. I am dedicated towards my aim and always try to find
different ways to improve my current skills which is helpful in my overall development (Burga,
Leblanc and Rezania, 2020). These skills are crucial for increasing my confidence in performing
well at different places and improve my chances of achieving better recognition from the
superiors. I always try to give the due respect to the feedback that are provided by my teachers
and mentors to me in order to improve myself and have a better future ahead. I want to develop
me weaknesses in order to experience changes in my current abilities to produce better results.
These skills are useful in order to develop a better image in the working environment and
increase my changes of gaining benefit among my competitors. I am always keen to gain new
skills and try to provide better efforts towards my development process which is crucial for

It is appropriate to create a proper career action plan after evaluating the crucial skills that are
identified by me for improvement. By giving due importance to these skills individually, I will
be able to gain a proper understanding of the different aspects that are related with these skills
and what is mandatory in order to gain competitive advantage in the business environment. The
action plan is useful for me to gain a better understanding of the different areas that need to be
improved in my development and what changes I need to make in my approach towards learning.

provide me with a better experience of my skills.
