Introduction
The Springwood services is established in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health
District. The services provided by Springwood such as day surgery, palliative care and
rehabilitation (Nbmlhd.health.nsw.gov.au.2019).
Discussion
There are two budget has been made on the basis of five section of expenditure that are
the staffing, consumables, utilities, administration, and depreciation of an equipment. The
detailed explanation has been provided beside the calculation. The data and the figures that have
been used for preparing the budget is taken from various sources. The analysis of the annual
report of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District have been done to gather relevant
information. The analysis of website is also done to obtain information about the services
provided by Springwood services. The analysis of the websites and the report help in gathering
information about the various kinds of expenses that is incurred by the Springwood services. The
break even calculation that has been prepared from the optimal budget shows a profit of about 0
as it is a not for profit service. The total income in the budget shows 58500000, and the total
expenditure shows 58500000. The other budget shows the contingency budget which shows 10%
less form the optimal budget. The services offered by Springwood offers at a very low price. The
surgery is done only on the day and the palliative acre and the aged care provided by springwood
is very popular (Brown et.al. 2013).
