Developing strategies to overcome communication barriers
The communication is very important for bringing back the state and position of
the hotel and the country to normalcy. So for this reason it is very necessary to
overcome these barriers to effective communication. The major step to overcome the
communication barrier is that the hotel must after the attack should start a fresh with the
making of the new plan to develop the status of the hotels and must do a market
research after the attacks so that it can devise new marketing strategy to market the
hotel Kingsbury into the international market. This is done in order to re-stablish the
hotel into the market.
Demonstrating awareness of cultural influence on
communication and negotiation
Culture refers to the different types of beliefs, thinking and perception level,
attitudes of people living in a society. The hotel employees must first understand the
culture of the people or the tourist and then talk to them. This is due to the reason that
if the person is speaking relating to some specific cultural and the other person does
not have any knowledge relating to that culture then it is a waste of time for both of
them.
CONCLUSION
After the study of the poster it was summarized that the effects of the terrorist
attack were very severe and disastrous on the country. It concluded that these attacks
hampered the communication in the hotel and how they posed barriers in the process of
communication. Also it devised some strategies through which these barriers can be
removed. At last it demonstrated that awareness of cultural influence is necessary to be
successful.
