There are several reasons that may impact the construction project. The aim of the article
is to identify the reasons that can hamper the construction project execution. The causes behind
construction project delay can be due to inadequate planning, improper site management, lack of
contractor experience, improper communication process and inability of sub-contractors and
clients financial manager to organize the site. However according to a study it has been observed
that lack of financial support leads to hampering the development of construction projects. The
article has focused on identifying the key causes that are responsible for project delays. It is
important to identify each reason affectively so that it can help in meeting getting the disease.
Apart from this it has also been observed that the weather factor is also a key reason behind the
project delays for construction project. It has been observed that due to bad weather condition
several projects got delayed in USA. Thus before starting a project it is important to analyze all
the factors efficiently so that the chances of delays can be reduced with in the construction
projects.
