distributes electric products, electricity and gas in the UK and Scotland. SSE Company is a
part of the SSE Group. The company is a FTSE 100 company and is popular as the largest
energy distribution network in the UK. The company has more than 20.000 employees
working in 150 locations in the UK (sse.co.uk, 2019). The assignment focuses on studying
the external factors that affect to the business of the organisation.

Analysis of the External factors
SSE is a leading electric supplier of the UK and Scotland. The company has dominated the
large energy market. The company is influenced by external factors. In the following the
external factors analysis are made.
