3. During my research on the Vietnamese market, I have realized that SSI Securities Corporation is a
company with great potential for growth in the future. I often look for founders who are able to impress
from the first meeting even if they often experience failure or rejection when applying for investments in
their plans, big or small. SSI gave me that feeling because of their dynamic, professional working style and
their spirit of constantly reaching the top. Although, the market has had a lot of ups and downs, SSI still
affirms itself as the No. 1 Securities Company in Vietnam by its achievements such as: Best Securities
Company in Vietnam for 7 consecutive years, top 50 companies listed the best in Vietnam and the top 50
most valuable brands in Vietnam. Furthermore, SSI surprised me with great surprise because they were
still standing, while the acute respiratory epidemic of Covid-19 caused a shaky world economy. Therefore,
SSI will not be afraid of any difficult challenges and will always move forward. Therefore, SSI Securities
Corporation is the investment choice that I recommend to Wells Fargo, a US multinational financial

OBJECTIVES (5-year plan 2016-2020).
SSI's profit target is GDP growth of only 5-6% which is also positive for Vietnam, though the
Government has not adjusted its growth target to 2020, recent estimates from the Ministry of Planning
and Investment also suggest that growth could be reduced by about 0.8% from the original target (to 5.96
- 6.25%). In addition, for product development, SSI focuses on product diversification, product quality
and technology application in products; Providing diversified and effective products. Regarding brand
name, SSI promotes the development of distribution channels so that products can reach a large number
of customers; developing and expanding a variety of customer groups will be performed synchronously
through many channels, such as consulting team (the main channel), online transaction channels, emulator
systems, social networks ...
For social objectives, SSI still maintains charitable activities and sponsors education development in
the near future. Implementing the movement "The whole country join hands for the poor – do not let
anyone be left behind" launched and called by the Prime Minister, SSI has participated in sponsoring Dak
Lak province with 1 billion VND and sponsoring Ha Giang province nearly 7 billion VND; contribute to
helping people have a solid house, consistent with the national cultural identity; resist the harsh climates

5.1 SSI Securities Corporation is a profit organization. According to the 2019 financial statement,
as of December 31, 2019, the company had to pay VND 506.668.467.000 for dividends and profits to
owners. In early 2019, this figure recorded at VND 498.231.445.000.

5.3 As a securities company, SSI is also a public company. On December 15, 2006, on the Ho Chi

5.2
Shareholder Structure (SSI, 2019)
According to statistics of shares in the company, we can affirm that SSI is a private company. As of
October 25, 2019 the state does not hold any shares in the company. Holding the most shares is foreign
institutional shareholders with 54%. Domestic shareholders account for 42.8% of which Mr. Nguyen Duy
Hung - chairman of securities joint stock company SSI - currently holds 1,33%.

6. According to the annual report of 2019, Vietnam Stock Market was born on July 11, 1998; The Prime
Minister also signed a decision to establish a Securities Trading Center under the State Securities
Commission, including the Hanoi Securities Trading Center and the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading
Center. On December 30, 1999, SSI was established and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City and only three
years later, SSI established its first branch in Hanoi, marking its business expansion Northern provinces.
It can be seen that SSI is one of the oldest companies operating in the Vietnamese stock market. Seize
opportunities and choose the first business terrain at the two Securities Trading Centers of the country,

6.1. SSI currently has 16 branches in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vung Tau and Nha Trang
and transaction offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The company is headquartered at 72 Nguyen Hue

6.2. According to the announcement of SSI's business results in 2020, total revenue in second quarter
is recorded at 1,379 billion VND - up 85.5% and pre-tax profit is 651.7 billion VND - 172.4% growth
compared to the same period in 2019. At the end of the first half of 2020, SSI has total revenue (parent
company) of 2,354.7 billion VND, pre-tax profit (parent company) is 666.8 billion VND. SSI firmly stands
at the top with 14.13% brokerage market share on HOSE; and 7.63% on HNX. Revenue from securities
brokerage activities increased by 46% compared to the second quarter of 2019, reaching VND 190.8
billion. It can be seen that the brokerage market at Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange - HOSE is the most

7.1. As of December 31, 2019, SSI’s total asset were VND 27.044.115.024.913. The total liabilities
are VND 17.643.055.244.708. Owner’s equity is VND 9.401.059.780.205.

According to the 2019 annual report, the right column describes the 2019 parameter, the middle
column describes the 2018 parameter, and the left column describes the 2017 parameters. It can be seen
that the company has expanded compared to 2018 as equity increased from VND 8 trillion to VND 9
trillion. However, the achieved equity capital still cannot reduce the liabilities. Moreover, the Vietnamese
stock market is deeply affected by complex and multidimensional developments in the global context, such
as: market liquidity in the first 6 months of 2019 decreased and operations Capital mobilization tends to
slow down due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, causing total liabilities to increase from VND 14
trillion (2018) to VND 17 trillion (2019). On the other hand, the company's total assets increased sharply
from VND 24 trillion (2018) to VND 27 trillion (2019).

7.2. SSI currently has a total of 907 employees. Including 80% of human resources in the
business sector, 6% working in the administration sector and 14% in the support sector. SSI pays special
attention to and always focuses on the selection of a team of potential candidates, talents, and leading
experts who are enthusiastic, ambitious, and ready to take on new opportunities and challenges. The staff
in the departments are all highly educated (college graduates and older), the average age is under 30 years
old, are well trained with the rate of 86.7% of university and 11, 0% postgraduate. In addition, the
