INTRODUCTION
Social Enterprises are made with purpose of tackling social issues for improving
employment or social problems. Such organisations intend to earn income to cover its operating
costs. Australian economy has social enterprises targets to be financially stable having social,
economic, or environmental advantages to local people. St. Vincent de Paul society is providing
practical support to most defenceless in the community (Mason & Barraket, 2017). It is highly
recognized charitable organisation in Australia, supporting communities and individuals in non
developed countries.
MAIN BODY
Purpose of development of St. Vincent de Paul society was to serve poor and needy
people across Australia. Helping Christ in poor with respect, justice and care to create more
compassionate society. Society was developed in market to serve seekers with home assistance
and providing financial and food help to needy people.
Analysis of Service of Products.
Organisation offers different products and services like Home visits, Soup vans,
assistance to asylum seekers and army man or international development etc.
One of the services that St. Vincent de Paul offers is Vinnes Shops which is well loved
face of the organisation. Approximately it has 250 shops in suburbs and across NSW.
It is destination for people who love recycling and reusing of products, each year almost
four lacs of people are assisted by the administration who are facing homeliness in New
South Wales.
Good quality furniture, clothing or household items are provided to people in need.
Revenue generated from such arrangement is not recognized as profit rather it is
distributed to support local welfare of the society (Kerlin, 2017).
There are total 627 shops that St. Vincent has, most of its stores are in NSW. In
Queensland it has 129 shops and it Victoria 102 shops are opened to support local
community and more.
Accommodation to single men women or children are provided by organisation or
services to two parent family or men with children are assisted with the facilities.

seekers, for rebuilding lives and establishing home in new country.
People might be kidnapped, forced or tortured due to their religion or race in many
countries. Not all are privileged to enjoy peace or democracy as Australia. They migrate
to Australia to seek help and St. Vincent offers such services.
Financial or information support to migrants or refugees in form of home visits, food or
help in form of money.
Social Enterprise Development and its Justification.
There is huge unrealised potential for Social Envision and missionterprises in Australia
having significant impact to the nation. There is broad range of models of Social Enterprise in
the country as in United-Kingdom. Approximately twenty thousand social enterprises are there
in Australia accounting for three percent GDP to the economy (Jenner & Jenner, 2016).
St. Vincent is providing assistance to seekers, in form of its various products and services
offered. Social Enterprises are desired to work together for the purpose of meeting collective
ends. However, it is revenue generating unit with primary objective of social welfare rather
creating wealth for its owners or shareholders (Society in Australia, 2017).
Organisation is aspiring to provide 'a hand up' to people across the nation who are in
need. Australian society is advocating several justice issues like homeliness, poverty or seekers.
Values for St. Vincent are compassion, commitment, respect, empathy, courage or
advocacy are aligned.
CONCLUSION
This report is based on marketing for social enterprises and recognizing its products and
services. St. Vincent is working for social welfare of local community and assisting most
compromising in community. Migrants, refugees or asylum seekers are supported by the
organisation through financial help or food or accommodation.
